Play by post Heroscape

I don't know if this is the right place but I wanted to know if anyone is running a play by post Herosacpe game.

As long as each player has the same figures so they can see where the oppants figures are, the same number of MS and expantions and is able to set up the same board for a few weeks it should go rather fast. http://www.irony.com/mailroll.html has a dice roller that emails the results to two diffrent people that makes it easy to roll attack and defence by having it roll X number of six siders. 1,2,3 are shield/skull 4,5,6 blank. The d20 is there as well for mindshakle and the like.

Movement would be a little hard but as long as a everyone agrees on a left, right, down right, down left, up right, up left it should go smoothly.

So anyone running or interested in joining/starting one?

Great idea, jasperot91 (welcome to the boards, too!) but sounds like it would be a complete pig to do, and slow to boot. Any ideas on how to keep it at a pace that keeps it interesting?

Don't forget that an attack die has 3 skulls, while a defense die has only 2 shields. Also, if using a flagbearer, it is nescessary to assign one specific number for the blank aka Valkyrie Symbol (or whatever it's called).
The easiest way to keep it all straight would be to adopt the 2nd Ed. dice style. Example: for every roll, whether attack or defense, 1=Blank/Symbol, 2-3=Shield, 4-5-6=Skull.
Good luck.

It's a good idea, but if your opponent can't see the die roll they may be cheating... Like this [p1] I rolled 2 skulls what did you roll? [p2] I rolled all 5! Jotun is dead now![p1] What!

FINISH HIM!

Read his post again! The link he provided is a generator that sends the roll result to both players. That's the point of using it.

Yes you are. I think this a cool idea. But very diffucult.

Dan: "I'm filled with reckless desire."

I asked the VirtualScape developer to add a 'number all the hexes' button to the software. Which allow the players to use a pregenerated map for determing location, etc.
