Re: The Book of Wong (Vote For Initial Playtest)
I take it as his master sends him to do his bidding, then follows up on his own. This also makes it easier for the Sorcerer he's paired with to take advantage of the offensive boost more frequently then if Wong followed him.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Wong (Vote For Initial Playtest)
I'd want to make it easier for Wong to use the attack bonus rather than the sorcerer.

Re: The Book of Wong (Vote For Initial Playtest)
If Wong attacks the same figure as the sorcerer?

Re: The Book of Wong (Vote For Initial Playtest)
No, it doesn't need any further restriction. Just let the sorcerer take its turn first and then Wong.

Re: The Book of Wong (Vote For Initial Playtest)
Guess in the metagame, I'm more interested in seeing Wong boost Doctor Strange than Doctor Strange boost Wong (both would still be happening, but I'm more interested in seeing Strange use his manservant to make life easier for Strange).
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Wong (Vote For Initial Playtest)
A. LOYAL MANSERVANT
At the start of the game, choose a figure with the Magical Defense special power that you control. After revealing an Order Marker on the chosen figure, before taking a turn with that figure, you may first take a turn with Wong. If the chosen figure is a Sorcerer, when Wong and the chosen figure are adjacent, both add 1 extra die to their attack. = Wong moves up & att. adj. figure w/3 dice, Strange moves up adj. to Wong & att. w/6 dice @ range 4. B. LOYAL MANSERVANT At the start of the game, choose a figure with the Magical Defense special power that you control. After revealing an Order Marker on the chosen figure, after taking a turn with that figure, you may then take a turn with Wong. If the chosen figure is a Sorcerer, when Wong and the chosen figure are adjacent, both add 1 extra die to their attack. = Strange moves up & att. w/5 dice @ range 4, Wong moves up adj. to Strange & att. adj. figure w/4 dice. C. LOYAL MANSERVANT At the start of the game, choose a figure with the Magical Defense special power that you control. After revealing an Order Marker on the chosen figure, either before or after taking a turn with that figure, you may take a single turn with Wong. If the chosen figure is a Sorcerer, when Wong and the chosen figure are adjacent, both add 1 extra die to their attack. = Choice between A & B based on the targets available. |

Re: The Book of Wong (Vote For Initial Playtest)
I like option C myself. It adds a decent strategic decision, and works thematically. I imagine Wong, opens car doors and such for Doc Strange, and sometimes he follows behind awaiting further instructions.

B. Wong should follow his master.

Re: The Book of Wong (Vote For Initial Playtest)
This is an interesting development.
Personally, I think Wong could move either before or after Strange and it would be thematic. That is, one time he might follow Strange into battle and aid his master. Another time, Strange could send him first as a distraction then follow up with the "big attack". Wong certainly would be willing to serve as a decoy. Therefore, for me, this becomes more of a decision based upon what would most improve game play. So, I vote C. |

Re: The Book of Wong (Vote For Initial Playtest)
Agreed. A.
On a side note for whomever does the initial here, please definitely try this guy out with Enchantress. I worry about the potential of that combination given everything she has to offer. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
