Re: The Book of Kiora, the Rising Tide
"At the start of Kiora's turn, move a creature you control 4 spaces."
What is the timing for the 'start' of her turn? Is that step 4 below, or when she is selected during step 2? It matters if you can Summon on 3. and then move them on 4. Thoughts? 1. Draw a spell card & cast spells. * 2. Select an army card & cast spells. * 3. Summon (if planeswalker was selected) & cast spells. * 4. Move selected figure(s). 5. Attack with selected figure(s). 6. Cast spells. * 7. End your turn - Increase turn tracker, then player to left now takes their turn. |

Re: The Book of Kiora, the Rising Tide
It would be on step #2, right after you select Kiora's army card.
I gather that is the start of the planeswalkers turn. The creature must have been on the board already when Kiora was selected for it to be moved. The start of the turn would logically take place before summoning, movement or attacking. But I think that casting spells before moving a creature would technically fall inside the timing, since it is still within step 2. |

carry by waves does it count like 4 normal moves or can place creature up to 4 spaces? water and elevations count?

Re: The Book of Kiora, the Rising Tide
Because it says 'move', I'm pretty sure it's just moving one figure 4 spaces. Water and elevation will count in that move.
Oops, rolled a 1. |

Re: The Book of Kiora, the Rising Tide
Heres how I interpret it: Kiora is alone on her side map the she summons projections and Pummelroot elementals she moves up to how many the player wants to move, plays enchantments up to three. Her turn is done. Opponent does their turn (but this is Kiora's book not theirs). So the Player draws a card (Action 1 renewal),They choose Kiora (Action2 selection) and before they move her or attack ,using carry by wave she may choose any creature squad/hero regardless if it is out of line of sight and move it 4 spaces while also taking note of movement rules(elevation, water, falling etc).Basically it is more like movement bonding than anything else. After the move has been completed, Kiora can play her spells before she moves(Action 3 movement) (while withholding the 3 per turn limit) or after she attacks(Action 4 Attack). After these things have been accomplished and you move your turn marker up to the next number,(Action 5 cleanup) play should progress to the next player provided they themselves don't get confused about a ruling within the rulebook themselves.(It's alright it happens)
