I knew I had a plasticrack problem, but I didnt realize I had that many minis. I think the biggest reason its that crazy was from my stint on a kickstarter backing high in 2016. I know at least 1000 or so of them are from that alone. There are tons of them in game boxes so I dont really see them like the ones on my display shelves. I dont like to waste anything, so when I got those snake men and cultists boxes, I 3d printed extra bodies for all the extra heads and arms on the sprues. That got me 80+ minis out of what should have been 40. They are neat though because it gives them extra variations. By counting my painted minis I wanted to just see how much work I had done. Then counting them all kind of opened my eyes to how much stuff I have and if I really need it all. I think that will motivate me to try and thin some of it out. Im going to probably send a bunch of it down to the monthly tournaments for prizes and such. I dont want to even think of how much time was spent crafting and painting all my terrain.

That's a good idea as far as giving stuff away as prize support. I did that in February at a local convention that raises money for the veteran suicide issues. I'm going to give some more board games away again this coming February at that convention. It wasn't until I started looking through my board games, that I realized how many I had, kind of like you with minis. I was on a kickstarter binge for awhile too, as well as other things, but my games weren't miniatures board games, with the exception of Mercs Recon, which has probably 150 or so minis. Some of which are painted and most are not. Though I did use 4 of them to make custom characters for The Walking Dead.

Yeah, Ill probably do that starting with a bunch of my random heroclix that were bound to be made into heroscape pieces. Speaking of which @japes , you like heroclix right? I can probably round up all those for you if youd like. For anyone wondering, my post wasnt supposed to come away as me bragging about the amount of plastic I have. I was truly surprised that I had that much. Now I need to go through it so I dont feel like a hoarder of minis.

Side note: my ATST and shoretroopers came in today. Ive really been wanting to put together the atst since I first seen it. I may just paint all those guys tonight.

I very rarely will turn down any mini's. Whatever we don't use I give away to my son's friends to build our group. We also play a little game where we design a card for a figure based on what he looks like if we don't know who/what it is. My son loves that. He's really getting into custom stuff these days. We've been creating heroscape cards for a team he's creating based on all his friends each with an elemental power and a squad of construct/elementals for them to team with. It's actually pretty cool.

Plus our floors are finally getting repaired/installed this week from the flood in February so we will be able to unpack our game table and games this weekend. Due to that and my wife's health issues, we haven't played or painted in many months.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

No I don't.

Star Wars wise I have mostly clone wars era stuff and the core OT with some Storm Troopers and Rebels.

Re: Frostgrave, Halo Ground Command and other tabletop minis

Some terrain I've finished from Warsenal. I still have several more pieces to work on, but now at least I have a decent amount done for a nice setup. It's the stuff with the troops on it. Each piece is an mdf kit that comes in flats that have to be punched out and glued together. It's very versatile, as the railings/walls come off the platforms to allow the stairs, walkways and madrals (shield things) to be put in many different configurations. The crow's nest (platform on top of the other platform) can be there or not if I don't want it.

So the stairs are functional? I take it the bases fit in slots between steps. Pretty nice.

Thanks Tornado. I've actually had the walkways done for awhile. Them, one platform and one stairs. The other stuff had only just been primed for about a year. Now that I finished some other pieces, I could actually use the walkways.

Thanks Japes.

Yes, the stairs are functional. But the Legion bases are thicker than any other miniatures base I have, so they don't fit in the slots between each stair. There is a landing halfway down that I was able to squeeze 2 Legion figures onto.

I'll have to check to see if Heroscape width bases fit. They are thin enough but maybe a little wide. The terrain is designed for a game called Infinity, which have bases (for normal infantry size minis) that fit with extra room.

This is the main set that I bought. I'm done with all it except for the barracks, which I have only had dry fitted in its bare mdf form for a year or so. It's going to be pretty challenging to finally glue together and paint, as several pieces have to go in a specific order. The biggest pain will be the stairs on the side, as they are individual stairs with a notch on each side. The trick is getting everything to line up. It will be really neat when it is done and I'll have another place to connect a walkway

https://warsen.al/collections/terrai...e-starter-pack

I also have 3 tower lamps. All mdf pieces except for acrylic lenses and rubber like wire.
https://warsen.al/collections/terrai...he-tower-lamps

I also have a pair of these scout platforms that sit on top of the bunkers when you take the bunker roof off. Hopefully they will be done in a week or so.

https://warsen.al/collections/terrai...ox-scout-tower

Crow's Nest kit. These pages for the kits show other applications and possibilities.
https://warsen.al/collections/terrai...che-crows-nest

I have the wide version (shown in my pictures with a lamp post on it) of the short tower.
https://warsen.al/collections/terrai...e-short-towers

If you check out all the different terrain on the site, they have a lot of awesome stuff. There's a cool middle eastern line of buildings, some Asian buildings and a cool lone of buildings for futuristic cyberpunk theme, like in the Blade Runner movies.

Re: Frostgrave, Halo Ground Command and other tabletop minis

I love what you did with the warsenal terrain. I might just have to make some grated flooring pieces now to go with my Imperial installation board setup. If I didnt already have everything to craft them I wouldnt because I dont need any more terrain. Always inspiring to look at your work.
