Re: 3 Player Games - Ethics?

The Ethics of 3 Player Games:

Take your time setting up and picking armies. The first person who leaves the room; to use the bathroom, to smoke a cigarette, to get a soda, to take a phone call, ie. for any reason at all, that person is the unwitting victim of the game. Upon leaving the room, the remaining two players immedietly enter in a secret alliance in which they completely and utterly destroy the player that dared to leave the room when playing a game. After that guy or girl has been wiped out, then it becomes a 2 player game, may the best traitorous friend win!

If no one leaves the room before play is set to begin, a subtle and secret communication of head nods and winks must be used to find out which other player is willing to enter into a secret pact on the fly. This can get tricky as some cunning players will enter into a secret pact with both players, so beware the ultimate betrayal. If you don't spot anyone trying to enter into a secret pact with you, that's because you are the victim and they are already plotting against you.

To defend against becoming the victim, remain an active and engaged participant in all discussion and activity taking place. By keeping your eyes up you can prevent the other two players from engaging in a secret agreement while you are in the room with them. Watching your phone for the latest Facebook update or Twitter post is a sure way to become the games victim. Your friends will notice that your phone life is more important to you than spending time with them and will be happy to eliminate you from the game as quickly as possible so you can get back to watching youtube videos.

Spoiler Alert!

Re: 3 Player Games - Ethics?

So I been thinking about this alot as well, what about a diplomacy style game with a starting "currency" we will call "coin" for each nation. So thenation with most currency at the end wins, each unit being worth x amount of "coin". So 500 pt start all 3 players get an extra 300 "coin" represented with maybe dimes, nickles etc. as units die say each small figure worth 50 pts per and killing any hero 100, use the "coin then to influence other players.
Maybe even territory bonus, my maps are ussually well divided different biomes, dessert , ice-lands, mountains, plain. could make a "coin" per round for each territory. just a thought

Re: 3 Player Games - Ethics?

Well met!

Oxymoron.

The Gang doesn't play 3 player FFAs. Instead, we play 4 player team games with one player fielding two armies.
