idea for a game variant

would it be possible to make a football/bloodball type varient of heroscape?

this was just off the top of my head, give me your thoughts.

some rule differences:

use only one hexed figures

movement is drastically reduced, to a move of 1,2,3,or 4

move each figure once per turn. to see if you move through a figure, and therefore kill it, use normal attack and defense die.

when throwing the "ball" wait one turn for each space outside of your range. in otherwords, if syvarris was throwing to someone 15 spaces away, he would need to wait 6 turns.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea actually, if done right. As for now I'm going to play some good old fashioned HS with my little bro.
