I was going to suggest 5 attack, which I believe the original design had, to give him oomf. The Con Artist change works, though. I don't think adding an extra use to rerolls for each wound he has will help since, in my games at least, he was avoided by the enemies until he was close to the last target.

Two cents from an outsider, who used to love the heck out of Hellblazer: An attack of 5 seems *really* powerful for John Constantine, who never seemed to have the inclination or the power to solve problems with his fists. At least, that's not how I remember him.

I think we’re slanting towards the New 52 version here, who has more traditional magical powers, ie shooting fireballs and such. Still, he’s pretty clearly shown in everything I’ve read to be worse at that kind of magic than Zatanna, who has an attack of 4.

I'm not versed in Hellblazer so it's fair enough if 5 attack is too strong. Turn ending on a higher roll is probably enough to do it.

Thanks guys. I didn't want to bump his base attack either, you can always draft more powerful spells to use with him. The little buff to Con Artist seems like a winner then. Even with that small buff, I'm still going to drop his points down to 130 for Alex's tests. I'll update the SP now.
