Re: C3G Faction Strategy Guides
Do Hell Lords count as a faction? Most of them are pretty stand alone and/or expensive central pieces that you build around with non-Hell Lord stuff.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Faction Strategy Guides
Yeah I’d say only a few of those are really substantial enough to need guides at the moment.
Legion is definitely something I’ve been saying I’ll do for a long time. I’ll see if I can find a little time today. ![]() DC Mystic is probably something I’d be interested in writing up too, maybe after a few more key pieces are finished. (Calling Occult Batman the JLD piece does get my nerd brain a little agitated though. ![]() |

Re: C3G Faction Strategy Guides
Blue Lanterns are included in the Green Lantern guide - due to how their battery markers work, they're not really usable without the GLs (or White Lantern Kyle who functions as a GL).
I dig those other suggestions. Lots of factions I haven't played much or at all on those. Creatures are one I've been meaning to try, I remember Tornado using those a lot in testing. |

Misfits are very much a work in progress still.

Re: C3G Faction Strategy Guides
Suicide Squad Faction Strategy
Important Links Overview The Suicide Squad is a faction led by Amanda Waller. There's not much synergy among the group besides what Waller provides, so Suicide Squad builds involve choosing a mix of various villains. The Suicide Squad is high-offense, with Waller offering bonding turns to figures that normally don't bond, and giving them +1 Attack on a chosen figure in addition to that. To balance that, the Suicide Squad has an element of risk - there's always a chance of them turning traitor, and you having to blow up your own figures or lose them to the enemy. Unlike a lot of factions, the Suicide Squad has a ton of overlap with non-thematic figures such as anything from Marvel. It's perfectly doable to make a fully thematic DC-only Suicide Squad build including all the movie characters, and that's an army I'd feel comfortable playtesting with. But this guide will mainly take a look at the most competitive figures, regardless of theme or publisher, as excluding the Marvel figures from this guide limits several powerful and fun interactions. That said, several thematic armies will also be included in the suggested armies. Leaders Both Amanda Waller and Rick Flag Jr. are essential in any Suicide Squad build. Waller is the core of the synergy, and Flag's boosts make the army competitive.
Tailored Inclusions There are a wide variety of figures that work with the Suicide Squad, and you can really put together any mix of figures to make a usable army. Try to include some variety, so you get melee, range, a special attack, an autowound power, etc. These are some of the best additions to a Suicide Squad build.
The Agents While Waller offers double turns to the villain classes, she can also activate one Agent card a turn, and the Agents help prevent nearby villains from turning sides, assuming Rick Flag is alive. Therefore several Agents can be a useful, heroic addition to a Suicide Squad build.

Re: C3G Faction Strategy Guides: Suicide Squad!
Big team effort on this guide, and there's certainly some strong figures we might have missed mentioning! Waller has synergies with a large pool of figures.

Re: C3G Faction Strategy Guides: Suicide Squad!
This is a fantastic guide, thank you! Loved the faction before and will definitely be trying some of these teams out, but Deadshot, Vulture, and Bane have been must picks for me whenever I've played them! I love how high the Attack can get on some figures in this faction too.
I want to throw in a couple of extra units that I think hold some interesting options for Suicide Squad: Quote:

Those are super cool combos! I added some small blurbs into the guide for those two and linked your post.

Re: C3G Faction Strategy Guides: Suicide Squad!
Thank you! In that case I'll add some links to my original post, and perhaps add a few armies to it using figures I mentioned too if that's okay.
