Halo 2 Map: Sanctuary

Hi! I'm still new to Virtualscape, so I was tinkering around and tried a rendition of Halo 2's Sanctuary. I figured, "Hey, this map has already been playtested!" So I tried re-creating it in Heroscape tiles. It's hard to get all the angles right!

Pretty good rendition there!

I've tried Battle Creek and Sidewinder. It's fun and a little weird to see these maps I know so well re-imagined in hexes. We also play with glyphs in the weapon spawns, where the unit that lands on a glyph must pick it up and no one else gains the benefit from it. Glyph-holders that die drop their glyph and it re-spawns at its beginning point at the start of the next round. It was really fun.

Well, there were some things I did have to change to make it work. Like the center building's second level is not enclosed.

But thanks for the kudos!

Cool! That's one of my favorite H2 maps. It looks pretty close, too.

How about Warlock?

You like Warlock? Personally I can't stand it...I think it's too enclosed and chaotic for me. I'm not as good at FFA or that level in general as I am at other things.

I'm all about charging in, but in Warlock I feel I can rarely kill more than one person before I get shot to death from behind or the side.

I'm a fan of the big maps in most shooters, so I'm not real familiar with Sanctuary.
