C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Nobody's doubting the FAQ being correct. There's some doubt about what, exactly, the FAQ means. As long as we have an agreed-upon interpretation, that's fine with me.

Just to be clear, you guys do agree that, say, KMS's Toxic Skin affects DOs? A "special powers that only causes wounds" still works even if it refers to figures, just like a special attack that refers to figures still works, right?

Are you asking me? It's all official game stuff, so my confidence one way or another doesn't really matter. Sherman interpreted things correctly, though, and hopefully quozl is satisfied with his answer.
