C3G INITIAL PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Valkyrie

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.

- MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game.

TESTS 3-4 Supergirl (320)
Supergirl wins R3T1 w/ 5 wounds.
Valkyrie wins R2T2 w/6 wounds.

TESTS 5-6 Selene Gallio (360)
Valkyrie wins R2T4 w/6 wounds after Selene couldn't roll a skull for Psychic Vampire.
Valkyrie wins R3T1 w/6 wounds. Dragonfang is flat nasty against Magical Defense figures.

TESTS 7-8 Doctor Fate (290)
Valkyrie wins R2T1 w/ clean sheet.
Valkyrie wins R2T3 w/1 wound. Poor attack rolls doomed the good doctor.

TESTS 9-10 Doctor Strange (300)
Strange wins R2T5 w/4 wounds. Used initial 4/1 attack to remove all OMs for Round 1. Poor defense rolls for Valkyrie-never more than 2 shields.
Valkyrie wins R3T2 w/1 wound. Strange's OM removal backfired this time.

TESTS 11-12 Enchantress (380)
Valkyrie wins R2T5 w/4 wounds.
Valkyrie wins R2T2 w/6 wounds. Bad matchup for Enchantress, who needs figures to Soul Swap.

TESTS 13-14 Scarlet Witch (285)
Valkyrie wins R3T4 w/1 wound.
Valkyrie wins R2T5 w/1 wound. Even with all the re-rolling and not getting the double wounds, Valkyrie is too much for the Sorceress.


TESTS 15-16 Frankenstein (320)
Frankie wins R2T2 w/3 wounds.
Frankie wins R2T5 w/5 wounds.

TESTS 17-18 Mongul (340)
Mongul wins R2T1 w/ clean sheet. Consecutive defense whiffs after initiative switch.
Mongul wins R2T3 w/5 wounds.

TESTS 19-20 Superboy (Kal-El) (330)
Superboy wins R3T3 w/3 wounds. Only hit Heat Vision once.
Superboy wins R2T5 w/ clean sheet. Again only hit Heat Vision once. Defense bonus saved 3 wounds.

Squad Test Parademon Shock Troopers x4 (320)
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 320
- Give a brief overview. Higher move usually gave her height advantage that Parademons were willing to cede anyway to try for the auto-wounds from Apokoliptian Weaponry. They did hit 3 of those, once when she whiffed for 3 wounds. Round 4 started with 1 Life on either side, so winning initiative was key for her.

Squad Test LexCorps Security x 2.5 (325)
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes
- What should be the unit's point value? 320
- Give a brief overview. Against range, she is obviously less effective, although her 6 Move does help close the gap. Not a single shield did she roll against 4 attacks in the first test, so I ran it again. Much better results the second time around.

Avenger Markers make the difference, as Asgardians had some poor defense rolls. Valkyrie healed Thor twice and put the 4 wounds on Enchantress. Black Canary's Fists of Fury decimated Asgardian Warriors early. Thor's God of Thunder Strike finished off Black Canary and Batman. Juggernaut put Thor at critical life. Thor healed back 2 wounds from Valkyrie and took out Juggy, only to fall to Black Panther boosted by Cap and Enchantress. BP then took out Valkyrie in just 2 attacks (but not before she hit Enchantress for 4 wounds), and put Sif at critical life with a 6/1 attack. Sif destroyed him before falling to Enchantress. All while Cap watched his Avengers work.

Who won and how many wounds did they have?
Team Avenger wins Round 7, Turn 3 - Enchantress with 4 wounds, Captain America unused and unscathed.

Yeah, 320 looks good so far. She dominated against figs with Magical Defense, but looked pedestrian elsewhere.

I forgot to mention--I bumped her move up to 6 to be on par with most of the rest of the Asgardians.

Should have squad tests up tonight.

Cool. Good call on making her consistent. She should definitely be able to hold her own with Thor and Balder on foot speed.
