Porting Magic Into AotP

Now that there's a Magic board game, we could create custom things. AotP has many influences from the card game it was derived from. So why not port Magic The Gathering into AotP?

The purpose of this thread:

Now that we have a new game to tinker around with, maybe we could add some our own ideas to this game. I'm thinking this thread could be used to create creatures, spells, and Planeswalkers of our own imagination. Custom creators simply just post their new ideas, and will receive feedback. With enough tinkering, we could create additions to AotP that could be like the organized custom creators for Heroscape. Eventually, there could be a display thread of completed designs.

Parts of a Magic card and how they correspond to AotP

These are the parts of an MtG card.

Many of these stats can be converted into AotP with a little work.
Card Name == Name of unit/spell
Mana Cost == Points. The higher the cost, the more points the unit should cast. This also identifies what color the card should be. Cards can be more than one color, so they may belong to different Planeswalkers. For example, a Blue/Black creature could be used by either Liliana OR Jace.
Card Art == Your army card art.
Card Type == Creatures are either squads or heroes, with legendary creatures being unique heroes. Instant, sorcery and enchantment are part of the spell deck. Artifacts, we will find out about. Planeswalkers, are well, Planeswalkers!
Edition/Rarity == Nothing really, besides expansion group.
Abilities == Time to get creative! This is where you'll need to create your own equivalent of that power.
Card Artist == Art credits
Attack/Block == Attack and defense, respectively.

Once per turn, for each Samite Healer you activated, you may remove one damage marker from creature or Planeswalker that is adjacent to a Samite Healer you control.

With a plethora of MtG cards, I hope we could create our own expansion to fill the void of content we would like to see. I believe that we could channel our creativity, and create some real good things. If you submit something, great!
