I was wondering what was happening with that.

WotCBarclay said that release of wave 1 was dependant on getting Wal-Mart to stock it??? I hadn't heard any further news after that, although that thread is wayyyy long now.

i dont think they should be in a wave they should be folded in to the normal heroscape

Folded in? As in regular editions to Heroscape Waves?

I agree with you on that Onacara, Marvel and regular 'Scape should be sold separately. Mixing them in with the expansion waves would dilute the figures that we might otherwise get.

As much as I like Marvel HS, I would rather see it sold as a stand alone product, or not at all.

The WotC guy did say that Marvel Wave 1 was definitely going to be released. So unless the word "definitely" has a different meaning,i'm still hoping its coming out.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still hoping it will be released too. Unfortunately, that 'definitely' statement was made quite a while ago. Judging from the fact that US reports are stating that you can pick up the master set for pocket change, that may have an impact on how 'definite' that is now...

I would like to see the marvel expansion, after all, it did look pretty cool. But good 'ol regular heroscape is my first priority.

He said it when WOTC first took over Heroscape to indicate it was in their plan to continue what Hasbro had started...he then later told us that Marvels Scape Wave 1's production and release were based on if WalMart and the other big stores (TRU,Target etc were on board)

Now the rumors that WalMart is fully devoted to Scape there still may be hope for it coming out..but if WOTC is smart they will rerlease Wave 1 2 3 4 and 5 quickly before WalMart backs out again.

Very true, but I would hope they wouldn't rush out a poorly playtested product. In that case, we may as well stick with customs.

Then how would she be attacked?

I expect Susan Strom to have phantom walk and some sort of form of stealth dodge.
