Players like Dignan, Rodriquez, Velenne, BroInLaw, DrL, ..these guys are constantly beating me and winning events.(well not rodriquez! He beats me but doesnt win events ) With up and coming players like rym and podwest nipping at my hills; newer comers like Guns Mahoney, Anubuanwolf88 and fencerjared; it just gets tougher and tougher. Hell the old school guys, InfinityMax, UranusPChicago, MarkWars, wisinger, have slapped me around, too. Grungebob has won hardware more recently than me. Add in the Houston guys coming up and kicking butt as well as the Arkansas guys coming over to steal our trophies...It is tough I tell ya! Facts don't lie. I haven't won in Texas (hell anywhere!) since MOP tourney 2 years ago and I practically had to steal that one then literally running off with it. (Lots of tied players wondering how exactly I came out on top: "Dunno fellas but I gotta go! Sorry, but I am out of here!!") It is no Ohio I guess, but it certainly isn't easy. Re: Heroscape Power Rankings (D1 UPDATE, other shifts)
Firstly, the edit button is there so you don't have to double post, and by saying the same thing in both you defeat the purpose of having a second post. Also, in a thread as well-known and popular (not the word I'm looking for but whatever) as this one, posts should be well-thought-out and add something of value to the thread, so as not to clutter.
I don't mean to be rude or abrasive, I'm just trying to help out. Take a look around the boards and you'll find that spelling and grammer are recommended as well. Re: Heroscape Power Rankings (D1 UPDATE, other shifts)
Based on the Gen Con results, what does everybody think will be happening in the Rankings?
Raelin, Q9, and the Rats prove to be A+, the way some people talk it should A++, doubtful. I was suprised not see a single Glads/Blast army in Day 2, maybe they should go on a watch list. Speaking of watch lists Greenscale should be moving up in the world with so much representation. And for those not on watch lists, Dividers make Day 2 again and place, maybe they should get a bump too. No Dwarves made it even with so many Dragons, Hydras, and Majors perhaps they join the 'Trons? When matched with a core that is the epitomy of consistancy, Vipers managed to make Day. |

I think Dwarves are still very good after Mogrimm and I hope NHSD will show them. Romans too. |

The dwarves are very good and there are a ton of larger figures out there to help them, but rat armies really hurt them. That's why the gruts are seeing more play because the rats don't hold them up as much. I used to play with rats all the time but haven't in quite a while. Not sure why, I guess I considered them too cheesy (although I keep playing glad/blast. |

Re: Heroscape Power Rankings (D1 UPDATE, other shifts)
I played them at last year's main event and ran into a buzz saw on Common Ground. I agree with the sentiment that the reinforcement format hurts the build. If I had made day two, I would have been adding very little to my army that would have helped. Plus, people could have added repulsors to kill me.

Re: Heroscape Power Rankings (D1 UPDATE, other shifts)
I'm guessing that Greenscales will either stay the same or go up a little bit in rankings. The Greenscale builds are one of the stronger contenders against Reaver Podges but dok's Fen Hydra addition can actually protect the start zone from the heavy hitting dragon heroes.
Other then that I do agree that Blasts/Glads fell quite short this year. I'd possibly recommend adding them to the watch list but at the same time I know that Gladiatrons are so rare right now that they simply may not be fielded due to that.
