I literally watch zero NFL every year (the joys of being the only sports fan in the house). Knowing nothing other than seeing the rare headline now and then, I had this figured as a duel of the ages between Mahomes and Brady. I was kind of watching in the first half (playing Mice and Mystics with my daughter), and thinking Mahomes wasn't that good based purely on the score. Then watching a little closer in the second half, I saw some of those absurd incompletions, and a bit of the limping when walking around between plays.

That was the best Sunday Night Football game I've seen in ages. Totally thrilling, from the beginning to the end. The two most exciting teams to watch in football, head to head.

It would have been a lot less stressful to watch if I wasn't rooting for one of them to win, but viewers who were not so invested really got a treat.

I normally have no vested interest in either of those teams, but I was rooting for the Ravens because I wanted to see Jackson win against Mahomes after all that talk of him not being able to beat him. Plus they were down some people, so I was really hoping the Ravens would persevere.

Also keeps the Chiefs from winning out the season.

Pretty obvious now that Stafford was the problem in Detroit. I cannot imagine how bad the Lions would be if he was still on the team.
