Re: Books: What are you currently reading?

I just finished reading Catching Fire, the sequel to Hunger Games.

Now, I'm reading the sequel to Atherton: House of Power, which is Atherton: River of Fire.

Currently, I'm reading the Quran and various Sufi texts.

I love the Sufis.

Re: Books: What are you currently reading?

Just finished...

Talked about it here.

Now reading...

Been holding back on this one until I got my hands on Confessor as well. Nothing more frustrating than catching up to a series and having to wait until the next one comes out. I practically forgot everything that happened in Chainfire (pre-Phantom), so I wanted to finish in one shot.

"Where Men Win Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman", by Jon Krakauer (known as the author of "Into Thin Air" and "Into the Wild", among other books). Good read (so far anyway). It's a bit more political story than any of his earlier works, but that's in no small part because Tillman became something of a political football both in life and in death.

Just finished "To The Last Man" by Jeff Shaara. A great book.

Getting ready to start "The Outfit" by Richard Stark (3rd Parker Novel). I am also reading "The Secret of Terror Castle" to my daughter.

Re: Books: What are you currently reading?

Has anyone here read Prey by Michael Crichton? I saw this book earlier in a store and it caught my eye. The next time I went, it was gone and I would like to know if it is any good before I try and hunt it down.

No! It was not good at all! It's about Nanobots. I can't remember details, but I remember reading it, and he just left a LOT un-explained. Like there were some huuuuge plot holes and it really bugged me. I would not recommend it.
