Re: Breach Public Playtesting
Point Total 505
Map: Volcarren Paradise Glyphs: 4 Random Treasure Glyphs (put in center water spaces instead of special rules). Trap: You may either reveal one unrevealed order marker from this figure’s army card and remove it or you may give the figure one wound. Army 1: Avernus, Breach, Boreos, Talingul (505) Army 2: Marro Gnids x5, Marutuk, Darrak Ambershard (505) Which units survived? 1 life Marutuk and a full life Darrak General Battle Report/Flow of game The constructs faced off against the gnids, with breach taking out a few before they began to cling onto him and bring him down. Avernus and Boreos were able to take out the rest of the gnids, with only one getting on Avernus. Marutuk eventually killed Avernus quickly and then one shotted Boreos. Talingul ran and shot at Marutuk a bit getting her to one life before she caught up to him and killed him for the win. How useful were playtesting units' powers and how often did they come into play? Breach killed 8 gnids in total, 5 with his sweeping scimitar special attack, which was pretty useful, it mainly was used to hit about 2 gnids at a time. Iron tough didn't come into play. Longstrides was used a couple of times to reposition him among the gnids. I sorta wish he had Lava Resistant like the other Iron Golems, though I know how people can be hesitant to put 4 powers on a card, I think his powers are simple enough that Lava Resistant can be added, without too much going on in one card. |

Re: Breach Public Playtesting
Map: Moat by Sir Heroscape
Glyphs: Ulaniva, Valda 400 points kevindola: Acolytes x 5, Morgoloth Heroscaper: Breach, Talingul, Boreos, Guilty Which units survived? Morgoloth 0 wounds, 13 acolytes General Battle Report So this went horrible. I moved out as a sort of pod with Boreos and Talingul, with Breach walking up. Morgoloth was summoned, and killed a Boreos who rolled crappily. Breach tried to make things right by a normal attack followed by Scmitar Sweep on Mogoloth and two acolytes, and only killed 1 Acolyte. Breach then went down. The game was called with Guilty having done nothing, and a Talingul with 2 wounds. How useful were playtesting units' powers and how often did they come into play? Scmitar Sweep was used once and killed one acolyte, other powers were not used. I liked Breach, but yeah this game went real bad. I'll be sure to do some more testing with him as he seemed a fun little whirling blade. "I am definitely a mad man with a box." "They are too numerous to fight. What shall we do?" "Fight anyway." "You can never defeat another if you know not how to defeat yourself." |

Re: Breach Public Playtesting
Map: Asension
Glyphs: Crevcor, Mitonsoul 500 points Army: Talingul, Boreos, Breach, Greater Ice Elementl Army: MacDirk Warriors x3, Alastair MacDirk, Major Q10 Which units survived? Talingul (4 life) Breach (2 life) General Battle Report Q10 fired away at the constructs putting a hit on Breach and a hit on Boreos as they came in. But the army was caught in the 2nd round and Breach and the Greater Ice Elemental killed Alastair with 2 attacks of 6. Q10 hit the non Golem elementals hard killing Boreos and 3 wounds on the Elemental before dying. MacDirks swarmed killing the Elemental and another hit on Breach (and a few on Talingul), but the sweeping scimitar laid waste to the MacDirks easily for the Construct win. How useful were playtesting units' powers and how often did they come into play? Sweeping Schimitar was used 4 times 0/4 that targetted 3 macdircks 2/4 that killed 3 macdirks 3/4 that killed 3 macdircks and 1 wound Q10 1/4 that killed 2 macdirks normal attack did 3 wounds to Alastair and 3 wounds to Q10 damage done: 3w Al, Q10, 8 Macdirks (365) |

Re: Breach Public Playtesting
Map: Breach
Glyphs: Unique, Mitonsoul 400 Army: Breach, Axegrinders x3 Army: Q9, Roman Legion x3, Marcu Which units survived? Q9 (full) 4 Romans Marcu (full) General Battle Report Breach charged and took a wound from Q9 as he did. He was surrounded by Romans before reaching the major, and it would have taken too many LEA to give to him. Breach did 2 sweeping swords that yielded no wounds before the constant attacks of 3 killed him having done no damage. Romans faced off against axegrinders with a few potshots from Q9 and the Romans got a comfortable victory. How useful were playtesting units' powers and how often did they come into play? Sweeping Schimitar was used 2 times 2/4 that targetted 2 Romans (no kills) 1/4 that targetted 3 Romans (no kills) |
