You'd likely have to do something else to stabilize him if you took the tail off. He's relying on it for support as-is.

Picked up a collection of the 90s-early 2000s Godzillas. I'm digging em. Super goofy.

Anyway, this guy's main deal is that he's made up of a lot of littler crustacean monsters and he can break himself down and recombine. That could have a more complex implementation with multiple units, but with mini practicalities (and actually needing a design hook) in mind, I just abstracted it out.

Reconstitution is lifted off Doc Manhattan. He's seemingly defeated but then pulls himself back together a couple times during his fight with Godzilla, so it's meant to reflect that.

I used Menacing for the personality mainly as a nod to the Alien Drones; there were a couple scenes with his smaller forms that were paying homage to the Xenomorphs.

EDIT: Switched up the leftbox post-Godzilla actually being carded; he's stuck as a Kaiju now instead of getting to be a Crustacean.

Interesting. Still can't find any right sized Kong figures at Walmart.

This is a faction I'd love to see us dive into, though! Maybe for Christmas in July 2 for 2021?

Yeah, I definitely could've nabbed "Space Godzilla" today if I'd wanted .... I don't think the stance on the six-inch Godzillas they had looked double baseable, though.

Not sure about the Godzilla (2016) figure they had in stock. Didn't pick that one up. I think that's the Godzilla from Shin Godzilla? I hear people like that movie in a non-goofy way, but I haven't seen it yet.

So is anyone actively planning on a Godzilla LD at this point, to fight Kong? I know Nobody has a take, but it's more the "impossibly large" alt take we talked about. The only other Godizlla write-up linked in the OP is Margloth's, who isn't around to do it.
