Orb Of Darkness

[Magic Darkus]

I was bored one day (seeing as how a teen can easily get bored) so I went into my room and found some new stuff for heroscape. The first thing I have created is an orb of darkness.

It's easy to make, and I have a custom rule for it.

First, lets get to the basic construction. I willl be using step-by-step quick instructions (I don't even need pics)

Supplies---
Elmer's glue
Dark colored or shaded marble
Something to hold the marble

For the holder, In my case, I used a clear button. I found it in my room.

Step 1
Take a holder (for the marble) and place it on a sturdy surface.

Step 2
Put some Elmer's glue inside the holder.

Step 3
Put one end into the holder and let the very detailed part of the marble stand out of the holder.

Now for the custom rules part
The custom rules are as follows

When adjacent to the/an orb of darkness (depending on how many you make), roll the 20-sided die.

1-10 +1 to Attack and Defense.
11-15 +2 to Move and +1 to Range
16-20 The adjacent figure(s) is destroyed.

If a squad member goes to the orb of darkness, ALL squad members gain the same ability.

Anyway, when I have time, I'll show you pics of it and a small story about it.

I hoped this inspired some people to make orbs of darkness/corruption/whatever .

It's a marble glued to a button. I don't think that pics are going to help you imagine it any better...

Having said that, I wholly endorse using things around the house for customs. Keep up the good work.
