Yeah, I was one of the main playtesters for the Walking Dead and I really enjoyed them.
I never found much use for the Roamers but it may be fun to mix a few in here and there.

The static ability of the Walkers is really where it is at and the ability of the Lurker to move them out in a group fairly quickly.

I am sure there are more fun mix-ins now I have not thought about yet.

The Crow may be a nice replacement for Punisher if you want all Undead. Maybe Jason but he is fairly static as well.

Hey guys, what C3G cards have Backstab-esque powers that cause you to lose temporary or permanent control of that character? I'm trying to balance a custom and I'm not sure how else to find that kinda information.

Captain Marvel the crazy one has a power where you lose control as well.

Go to the Sortable Index in my signature. On the top right of the tab called Powers, there are column headings that you can filter. If a power is marked with a C in column AG, it means the power has to do with controlling an opponent's figure. Ronin and I never differentiated out the powers between temporary and permanent control, but there are only 31 powers (29 figures) that have that type of power. Of those, only the following take permanent control:

Black Lantern (Uncommon)
Balck Lantern (William)
Brainiac 13
Dracula
Enchantress
Karnilla
Mephisto
Mister Sinister
Poison Ivy
Purple Man
Star Sapphire (Recruit)
Starro

and some of that control only lasts a round, or while in range, or until the controlling figure is destroyed.

After rebasing a couple hundred i don’t think I’d do it again. Mostly because I don’t even play Heroscape casually with friends anymore, but also because it’s unnecessary cost, time, and effort. They look nice though. Although there’s an argument to be made that the name on the heroclix base is nice to have for those less invested/familiar with the character.
