An updated Apocalypse Now.

This one....
• helps make the central LVL3 height more contestable,
• shifts some shadow,
• and adds a few more safe LVL2 spaces to help development.

And a newly tweaked Odin Wept.

The previous version could be abused by ranged pods setting up shop on the big 24-hex slab just outside the SZ (an issue which became clear at ScapeCon 2022).
This version solves that problem by moving the 3-hex glacier/outcrop.

I'm very grateful to @OEAO , who convinced me to revisit this map through the most recent episode of his Casters of Valhalla podcast. And big thanks to him, @GameBear , @Flash_19 , and @superfrog , who gave lots of feedback and suggestions on this new version.

Thanks to suggestions from the WoS team, Song of the Walrus has been improved:

• There's now a smooth LVL2 path running all the way around the hive/big glacier, for easier flanking.
• A single-hex LVL3 snow perch has been added adjacent to the medium glaciers, for more interest.
• Now more terracing adjacent to the glyph, for more dynamic play there.
• SZs altered for aesthetics and greater clarity. Are now obvious at a glance.

I brought Mome Wraths to the latest NorCal tourney. With it's classic Typhon maximized footprint I was smugly looking forward to make a more stable version with the addition of just a couple rock 24 plates and sharing my improvement with the world. But I built it as designed first, and, to my great annoyance, it wasn't flexy at all, and was even easily transferred from one table to another when partially assembled. Damn your incredible Michaelangeloan talent, Typhon!
