Re: The Book of Reptile (Breathing)
Would he be able to use his Acid Spit with it?
FWIW, Black Canary has Fists of Fury that can potentially be 4 attacks of 5(6 w/ height, then add in a Star-Lord or Cap etc.), as well as the bonus attack from Green Arrow who gains all those benefits to attack as well. Sure, she needs 3 skulls, but she's at 5 base attack and all the other stuff still applies. So it's not exactly unprecedented territory here. |

Re: The Book of Reptile (Breathing)
Does Fists have range?
Does Canary take LEAs? Was Star-Lord and Cap designed before Canary? Canary was one of the first designs. If she were to be designed today I imagine her points would be much higher or her mechanics would be different. She bonds with Robin and gets the GA attack and they all can get a Cap bonus. Not sure that would fly today. We need another Canary like we need another Punisher. |

Re: The Book of Reptile (Breathing)
As has been said before all the theoryscaping, we'll see how it plays in testing at the point value we're targeting, and adjust from there as needed.

Re: The Book of Reptile (Breathing)
Here's a possible solution I'll throw out there, as Tornado had suggested a special attack version of 3-Hit Attack. I took the basic idea/template from the likes of Black Manta and Swordsman.

The second took me a minute since the last line appeared to be part of the last bullet. Of course on the card it would stand out more. I added the space in my quote of your post.. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

If this is the case, give it a nice, generic name for maximum reusability - just calling it Dexterity sounds good to me. |

Re: The Book of Reptile (Breathing)
I didn't think the original version was unbalanceable, but I'm fine with the special attack version too. I do worry that the change to the 'acid' mechanic where it now tracks all wounds from the turn will make him far better against event heroes than Reptile really has any business being though.

Re: The Book of Reptile (Breathing)
Obvious Star-Lord/Avengers synergy, as others have mentioned. Not clearly stronger than other options, as others have also said, but definitely worth a look. Enchantress autoskull doesn't count as "rolled", correct?

Re: The Book of Reptile (Breathing)
We could change the wording on that to just that attack, or alternatively make the base attack for it all to be an attack of 3 and let it result in a potential of a bunch of small attacks lead to a bigger payoff for the finale if he's able to score a couple wounds along the way. That could be neat.
