Re: The Book of Deadpool
I know your copy of Deadpool is finished, and looks amazing, but I was wondering what you guys would think of switching the double attack for the ability that Thanos has Rejected by Death. Obviously for my own personally use, but just wondering what you all thought since you guys have alot more experience in playtesting. If so would the point change that much or no?

Re: The Book of Deadpool
Well taking away his double attack will greatly affect his cost, probably bringing him down to about 235. However, the ability to Resurrect is difficult to cost, especially when you consider that the one coming back has the most insane Healing ability that the game will allow without breaking, and the fact that I don't personally believe that Thanos' point cost was affected by his resurrection power. Think about Thanos. You can get your value out of him pretty much every time you use him by just using his stats and flying (boring btw), but if you resurrect him just once, then you are going to DOUBLE his value on the board.
Grundy has a similar power that is even easier to hit, though it comes with some penalties too. But when we designed him and costed him, we determined that we wanted to be responsible and tie his resurrection power to his cost at least some, so we estimated that you can get about 180 points out of him with no resurrection, then if he resurrects 2 times in a game with no swamp (putting him at half life each time and making him easy to push over), you can get about 100 more points out of him. Then tacked on an additional 10 points just in case. So going back to pricing Deadpool, it all depends if you want to go with the official aesthetic of not factoring in the resurrection power, or if you want to go with the C3G aesthetic of factoring in the resurrection power. C3G Deadpool with resurrection instead of double attack = 420 points in my estimation Official Deadpool with resurrection instead of double attack = 235 points in my estimation |

Re: The Book of Deadpool
Okay I see the C3G Deadpool. I didnt know that the company ever made an official Deadpool character. Sorry still kind of new and getting a hang of the boards. The only Deadpool I'm aware of that you guys did was the one that costed 285 points. Sorry for the questions and all, still new to the board/forum.

Re: The Book of Deadpool
Only for your opponent.
I actually wouldn't mind that power too much, since he loses a lot of his offensive power without Double Attack, and since Wisecrack tends to send bullets his way. I'd definitely expect that life to fall to 4, though. But enough threadjacking. |

Re: The Book of Deadpool
I was wondering on it, because he was cursed by Thanos so he and Death could never be together since he loved her. That is where I had originally gotten the idea from.

Updating, thanks!
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
