I wanted to congratulate @dok @Arkham and @Ronin for a fun distinction! The C3G Heroes have voted to create a new membership category to reward our veteran Allies, called "All-Star Allies" and the aforementioned trio are our first three such Allies.

What makes an All-Star Ally special? We allow them to test on any map, do their own initial playtests for their own LDs, and they can also purchase one LD at a time for 25 points. These guys have worked hard and proven themselves for this distinction, so I'm glad we were able to make it possible.

I appreciate the privilege and opportunities this brings forth. I look forward to more playtesting and designing going into the future.

I hope this further encourages others to push themselves. If you keep churning out playtests and coming up with designs etc., rest assured people will notice.

So what's the difference between this and being a Sidekick? There's obviously something I'm missing, so what additional benefits does Sidekick-ness provide?

Sidekicks can do initials for any design, can LD one design at a time without paying any costs, and have access to the Outer Sanctum. They also are occasionally called upon to cast tie-breaking votes. They're basically Heroes who don't vote most of the time and can only do one LD at a time instead of two.
