Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
Loving the Heavy Metalness of Bloodstorm Ritual, that's a proper name right there.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
Is the mini information in the nominating post? I don't see it. Also, thanks,
@robbdaman
, for calling attention to the issue.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
I like the new SA name much better.

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
The Dark Knight, his special seems pretty devastating, Especially at the end of a turn for init switch. I know he was priced very high at 150. The ability is similar to Brimstone who takes several turns to "Build" this up.
Have you tried Hexscape? 3D Heroscape Multiplayer Battle program! Looking for a C3V/SOV miniature? Try one of these sites. |

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
Brimstone can't spam his blast at that power, but neither can Viceron, really. The fact that he takes a wound to do it along with his Life Drain makes it tight and exciting. Furthermore, Brimstone is far more maneuverable than Viceron and can more easily position for a blast once charged up. Viceron may feel like a dragon sometimes, but he is a slow, land bound one. Setting it up around an initiative switch can be an effective strategy, but I see that as a feature rather than a bug.

Viceron the Dark Knight is also a little tricky to place, but I would go for Toril with him. He is not exactly directly D&D 4e based, but neither are a lot of things that came from Toril (Brimstone (I believe), Morgoloth, Skull Demon). I think he could otherwise slot in nicely to that sort of high fantasy world. Early Arctorus is also a contender, but I'm wary of contributing to that becoming too much of a catch all and would prefer Toril instead. |
