Re: Question Dump: Post Your Questions Here.
Is there an official ruling on checking that double spaced figures 'fit' when moving across levels? (This might be kind of hard to visualise, so let me explain what I mean)
Obviously, as per the rules, you have to be able to fit a figure onto any space they move onto or through (placing it down, checking it can be placed down with out, for example, the large gun of a stinger hitting an obstacle). But, when a double-spaced figures moves up a few levels and its front end is on the higher space whilst its back end is on the lower space, how do you check this? Do you hold the figure at an angle and make sure it fits, or just ignore it and make sure it fits when both ends are up? If this is too confusing to understand, I'll try and provide a picture The only Heroscaper in England.* Prove me wrong. *(Except for Lazy Orang) |

Re: Question Dump: Post Your Questions Here.
Technically, I guess you'd have to do it the former way, but I've always played it the latter way. In almost a decade of playing Heroscape, I'm having a hard time thinking of an instance in which a two-spaced figure would not have fit mid-climb.

One end hanging over empty space is the correct way to check. That's how a double space figure can fit through a 1-hex hole.

Re: Question Dump: Post Your Questions Here.
Not a rules question, but this felt like the best place to ask:
What's the best source of correct, copy n' pastable army card text? I'm talking about for official cards today. I'm looking for a source where any typing errors have been corrected over time. I've spotted errors in the Hextreme spreadsheet (but that was a long time ago--perhaps they've been corrected) and recently in the Wikia Wiki. Does @GaryLASQ correct typos on his site? Thanks. I started working on this new table layout, but got sidetracked. It's a transformation of the same data found on my original site. About time I get back to this and finish it... Last edited by GaryLASQ; February 13th, 2022 at 04:55 PM. |
