SgtHulka's Campaigns (using other authors' maps)

EARTH CAMPAIGN MASTER GAME
Escape From Rome Part 1: Break Out

Chicano's "Liberation Strike" Map

Spartacus. His name is legend, still whispered in fear among the Roman nobility. His death is legend. But I am here to tell you, the man who hung on that cross was not Spartacus. Spartacus escaped, aided in the endeavor by his gladiator comrades Crixus and Retarius. And now we slaves wait, patiently, for his return." -Epictatus, Roman Slave

Player 1's Goal: Player 1 must release Spartacus from his cell and then escape through Player 2's Start Zone.

Player 2's Goal: Player 2 must eliminate Crixus and Retarius before they can free Spartacus.

Setup: Player 1 places Crixus and Retarius in the blue start zone. Player 1 places Spartacus on one of the yellow tiles. Player 2 places the Roman Archers in the red starting zone. Thorgrim, Viking Champion begins on the glyph of Dagmar.

Special Rules: Spartacus begins the game "out of play". If Crixus or Retarius activate the glyph of Dagmar Spartacus is free and may be controlled by Player 1.

Once a gladiator has reached the red starting zone, it is taken out of play and removed from the game.

Victory: Player 1 wins when Spartacus has exited the battlefield or all of Player 2's figures have been destroyed. Player 2 wins immediately if Spartacus is destroyed or if Spartacus fails to reach the red start zone by the end of turn 10.

Campaign Continues: If Spartacus exited the battlefield, you may continue the story campaign by playing Escape from Rome Part 2: Healing Spring.

Escape From Rome Part 2: Healing Spring

Chicano's "Source of Volsunga" Map

"Marcus Decimus Gallus, most crafty of the Emperor's generals, knew that Spartacus would attempt to escape through the Alps to his native Thrace. But he also knew that Spartacus and his comrades had been wounded, and that they would likely try and take advantage of the legendary healing springs of the Volsunga. So he marched a handful of his most trustworthy centurians to the source of the Volsunga in an attempt to ambush Spartacus and put an end to his threat forever."

Player 1's Goal: Player 1 must escape Spartacus through the grey tiles at the top of the map.

Player 2's Goal: Player 2 must destroy Spartacus.

Campaign Setup: If you've just played Escape from Rome Part 1: Break Out, and you are continuing the Campaign, place only Player 1's Hero figures that were not destroyed in Break out. Any wound markers on the surviving Heroes' Army Cards left-over from Break out remain in effect for this scenario.

Player 1 Setup: Player 1 sets up his surviving Hero figures in the blue start zone.

Player 2 Setup: Player 2 sets up the Roman Legionnaires, the Roman Archers and Marcus Decimus Gallus in the red start zone.

Special Rules: Use Chicano's "healing effect" and "river flow" special rules from his map pdf.

Victory: Player 1 wins when Spartacus has exited the battlefield off the top grey tiles or all of Player 2's figures have been destroyed. Player 2 wins immediately if Spartacus is destroyed or if Spartacus fails to exit off the top grey tiles by the end of turn 10.

Campaign Continues: If Spartacus exited the battlefield, you may continue the story campaign by playing Escape from Rome Part 3: Against the Barbarian Horde.

Escape From Rome Part 3: Against the Barbarian Horde

Hasbro's The Battlefield of Frozen Souls from Thaelunk Tundra

"Spartacus had escaped the Romans, but before him waited an even graver threat -- the Barbarians of the north. Spartacus and his brother gladiators unwittingly defiled sacred land, and so the Huns gathered to make him pay."

Player 1's Goal: Player 1 must destroy all of Player 2's figures.

Player 2's Goal: Player 2 must destroy all of Player 1's figures.

Campaign Setup: If you've just played Escape from Rome Part 2: Healing Spring, and you are continuing the Campaign, place only Player 1's Hero figures that were not destroyed in Healing Spring or Break Out. Any wound markers on the surviving Heroes' Army Cards are removed.

Player 1 Setup: Player 1 sets up his surviving Hero figures in the purple start zone.

Player 2 Setup: Player 2 sets up Alastair MacDirk, the MacDirk Warriors, and the Tarn Vikings on any Ice or Snow space, but may not start on the Glyph of Brandar.

Special Rules: Use the same Special Rules as described in The Storm of Frozen Shards game scenario in Thaelunk Tundra.

Additionally, place a "Grenade" marker on the MacDirk Warriors card to represent javelins. Remove this marker to give each MacDirk Warriors a single ranged attack at "Range 4" for one turn.

Victory: Completely destroy the other player's army to win. If the game reaches the end of round, 12, roll for the Storm of Frozen Shards as normal. Then each player counts only the number of figures that he/she has left on any ice or snow space. The player with the most figures wins the game. if there is a tie or no figures are left on any ice or snow space, Player 1 wins the game.

Campaign Results: Whoever wins this scenario wins the Campaign.

Aren't Marcus and the gladiators on the same side?

J/k...

Anyways, these look quite interesting. I think that I'll play the campaign sometime.

I must admit, the idea of a custom campaign looks fun.

I should make a few ideas myself...
