Re: Declaration in Support of Classic Heroscape

Dfonse wants part of this action. I like Sci Fi and drow without lasers is not sci fi. Thus classic scape should return.

Re: Declaration in Support of Classic Heroscape

I have talked to people and they don't mind D&D heroscape too much, but they are now at the point where if D4 comes out before Core they are going to stop buying. I have to say I'm feeling the same way, so I hope this declaration gets some results soon.

Doesn't look like anyone is actually updating the front page of this list anymore, but I will do my duty and implore WotC to bring back some classic scape. Add my name please!

Re: Declaration in Support of Classic Heroscape

Needless argument deleted. I love scape anyway I get it, but I would LOVE to get classic back. Man, with the awesome designs coming out of the gate recently, I'd love to see what could be done with a greater range of options...

Re: Declaration in Support of Classic Heroscape

I hate to say it, but after seeing the Frostrager at the Tree Town Open, add my name to this list. The frostrager is the worst sculpt out of the worst expansion to date, and I fear that subsequent DnD waves will not improve. Only 18 figures in the wave, non traditional bases, cheep plastic, bad paint jobs, the figure scale is off, it’s like trying to hammer a square peg in a round hole. If you hit it hard enough it will fit, but it won’t look good.

I have been a dutiful solider and bought the DnD expansions in order to keep ‘Scape profitable for WotC, but if this is the future of the game I would rather see the line discontinued.
DnD is a great game if that is what you are into, I am not into DnD.
I love Heroscape and DnD is not Heroscape.

On a positive note, I would like to thank The Guru and WotC for sending the figures to TTO. Your customer relation is top notch and you went above and beyond. I also appreciate the hard work you guys have put in working with this square peg.

Respectfully,
Hoju511

Look again

@Trav11111: Agreed, I'm not even sure I feel like buying D3 to be honest, a lot of the figures just don't impress me and the lack of cohesiveness in the squads is just pathetic. I can't see how WotC will be able to put out another DnD scape wave unless they have a whole bunch more unreleased sculpts they are willing to put out.

Also, I will update this thread the minute I get a response back from WotC.

Re: Declaration in Support of Classic Heroscape

One more DnD wave without a classic wave is going to be very hard for me to accept; and any further reprints of classic waves seems to be a faint hope if they're not printing more DnD waves. Why would they bother?

Fantasy Flight Games...here my prayer!!!
