Unit Summary: This easily could’ve gone the other way had Thing not survived long enough to go on a Clobberin run. Calendar Man was nasty with Invisible Woman around but not so much after that.
Game Summary

Initiative Arkham Inmates. Early on Croc moves up and Calendar Man moves the X from Mister Fantastic to Invisible Woman, then Croc catches Invisible Woman next to water and Death Rolls her for 3 quick wounds. Sue moves away and Reed punches down on Croc for 2 wounds. Calendar Man moves the 3 off Mister Fantastic to Invisible Woman. Croc misses a roll on Reed. Sue hits a whiffing Croc for two wounds. Calendar Man does not escape.
Initiative Fan Four. Thing clobbers Croc out of the picture. Calendar Man moves the X again. Arkham Inmates advance. One is KO’ed and Scarecrow puts a fear marker on Mister Fantastic but can’t hit Invisible Woman. Mister Fantastic rolls terribly, can’t bond, and can’t be activated due to fear. Calendar Man moves OM3 from Mister Fantastic to Invisible Woman, Scarecrow hits him with another fear marker, and Joker KO’s Invisible Woman after defeating an Inmate. Zsasz advances, Scarecrow puts another marker and a wound on Mister Fantastic, and Joker wounds Thing twice. Calendar Man does not escape.
Initiative Fan Four. Joker puts a toxic wound on Thing. Human Torch avoids a swipe and flames on Joker, then hits Joker for 2 wounds. Mister Fantastic, scared, just hits himself for 2 wounds. Joker hits Thing for a Toxic wound, has Inmates advance (they fail to hit Mister Fantastic), has Zsasz advance for 1 wound on Mister Fantastic, then takes out Inmates to put a fifth wound on Thing with an attack. Joker can’t finish Thing, who clobbers him to death and hits Scarecrow for 4 wounds. Joker had the next OM. Human Torch flames on Scarecrow to finish him, then punches down on Zsasz for 2 wounds. Calendar Man does not escape.
Initiative Fan Four. Human Torch finishes Zsasz, who had the first two OMs and he and Thing finish off all but one Inmate. The last Inmate can’t hit Torch. Calendar Man does not escape.
Initiative Arkhamites. The last Inmate punches Torch for two wounds and hits him for a swipe, then Torch finishes it with a Flame On.

Unit Summary: Poor combat dice rolling for the Trinity, but decent d20 rolling, mostly on the lasso to slow down Joker. Calendar Man pops after the first round and is much less of a threat once he’s escaped.
Game Summary

Initiative Arkhamites. Joker advances. He has Scarecrow advance and Calendar Man moves the 3 off of Superman to Batman and has Firefly advance. Joker advances. Wonder Woman advances. Joker advances. He has Man-Bat advance and carry Harley forward and Calendar Man moves the X off of Superman to Batman and has Joker advance. Joker advances. Batman advances and fails batarangs on Joker, Harley, and Man-Bat (the latter two move). Joker moves adjacent to Wonder Woman and fails to wound her. Man-Bat claw carries Wonder Woman and wounds her. Man-Bat punches her for 2 wounds. Arkham Inmates advance, then Joker defeats one and activates, moving next to Wonder Woman and hitting her with 1 toxic wound. She blocks his attack. Joker avoids the lasso and would wound Wonder Woman but Superman comes to the rescue and takes the toxic wound instead. Batman advances and auto wounds Harley for 1 wound and hits Man-Bat for 2 wounds with the batarang. Calendar Man busts out of Arkham.
Wonder Woman uses a Justice Marker. Initiative Trinity. Wonder Woman lassoes Joker to a bad spot and stops him from moving. Superman punches Joker for 2 wounds, Wonder punches him for 1 more, and Batman, unable to get a shot on Joker, punches down on Firefly for 1 wound. Joker can’t move again. Scarecrow engages Superman and puts the fear in him, but can’t hit from height. Firefly avoids a swipe from Batman and puts heat wounds on each Trinity member. Joker gets lassoed again and Superman shrugs off the fear and punches Joker out. Joker had OM2. Superman avoids a swipe, takes height on Scarecrow, but only hits for 2 wounds. Calendar Man can’t hit Batman from height disadvantage. Harley defeats Wonder Woman (who whiffs).
Initiative Trinity. Superman punches out Scarecrow. Batman hits Calendar Man for an auto wound and Harley for two batarang wounds. Firefly goes over Superman but can’t hit. Superman punches Man-Bat for 3 wounds. Man-Bat can’t move because he loses control, but he also can’t hit Superman or Harley (who flips into the fountain). Harley’s bomb can’t hit a thing. Superman finishes Man-Bat.
Initiative Arkhamites. Firefly hits Superman with a heat wound. Harley can’t hit Batman. Superman hits Firefly for two wounds. Batman finishes Harley and Calendar Man with his batarangs. Firefly avoids a swipe and hits Superman for 1 heat wound. Superman punches out Firefly. Calendar Man had OM3. Superman takes out an Inmate.
Initiative Trinity thanks to Batman using markers. Superman punches out the last inmate.

UNIT SUMMARY: Calendar Man can definitely mess up teams like the Fantastic Four where they have a bad place to put an Order Marker (like Invisible Woman). I’m realizing now that based on the wording, the opponent should get to choose where the Order Marker is placed, which makes it less brutal or concerning. I played it where Calendar Man got to choose and though it was obnoxious at times, the enemy teams prevailed both times. Had I played it correctly, this would’ve been no concern at all.
