You need to get the info out to a receptive audience - that's games players, games clubs and games events. I'm sure SFX geeks include a higher than average proportion of gamers, but attack the problem at source - look for the gamers at local clubs (board and wargames, I'd suggest), rather than hoping to run into a few by chanc

Just searched on a fair few board game forums and none of them have been used in months!!! I just joined a forum and posted then realised that noone had posted since last year!!! Woe is me!

My wife isnt a huge fan of Heroscape... but last night I managed to persuade her to spend about 3 hours making scenery with me

The game has some sort of subliminal power to it that forces people to appreciate it...

That's a great way to get people into it-by getting them to help build the maps! They'll have so much fun with it that they can't resist playing a game or two on their 'wonderful' map!

I may not have been clear with what I said before - my wife wasnt making a map, she was making some cusotm scenery for me, involving polystyrene and papermache.
