Well thank you everyone for your answers. I recieved my Pyramid case yesterday, cost me 45$. I completed the entire pyrmamid set and massive amounts of duplicates. All told it was 192 figures. I have tons of skeletons I am going to be using now. Also many of these figs can be easily substituted in to build up my common squads. If anyone is interested in picking up some of these boxes go to ebay and type "mage night case" lots of them hanging out over there. I am going to get a whirlwind case next :P I have an awesome cobra fig that is going to be great with my vipers, yay another viper warlord

I have some ebay money for my B-day. I just saw 10 dark rider packs for about 35.00. Is this a good set of figs to pick up? I also was going to bid on 48 Sorcery packs, how are those?

try everythingmageknight.com
this site shows you pictures of everything in the set so you have an idea of what you are getting. Also you can buy individuals from them such as big dragons and such. Another thought for you to get mage knight. I have purchased many large collections of mage knight of line, such as 200 - 600 piece sizes. They usually go for around 50-150 bucks. I then pull out what pieces i like and break it up and relist multiple auctions of around 100 pieces or so. Everytime i have come out ahead. When you do this list in the heroscape, D&D in your titles too and it spreads out your potential buyers. gl... |

Thansk for the hints leifkicker, I have bid on four seperate cases of MK figs. If I won em all it would be about 800 figs. I did not bid on Dark Rider stuff yet because I am waiting to hear from someone if the figs are decent. I have been checking the site but sometimes it is tough to tell. for example the Pyramid figs are better in person. I am very happy with them.
Damn I just got outbid as I was typin here on one oh yeah you little SOB, take this...... HAH |

Dark Riders figs are very nice. Most of the mounts are extremely cool looking. I can post some pics of them later tonight if you want. A few of the riders for the mounts are very cool also....some of them are meh. It's a good set and most of the mounts will fit nicely on the double space bases. Some of the mounts might hang over the side of the double space bases but would still work (similar to the Frost giant on the Wooly Mammoth form WotDQ set.)
Just as a side note: Any of the MK 2.0 sets have a large selection of nice figures (there are always a few stinkers). This is strictly my opinion that the set with the largest portion of lame sculpts was Omens but that set had some awesome figures too (Bow Golems come to mind.) So those sets are MK 2.0, Dark Riders, Sorcery, Omens and then Nexus. Sculpts in the later MK 1.0 sets were improved dramatically also. Those sets include Sinister (good luck finding that set...it was extremely popular), Minions, Pyramids, Uprising and Dragon's Gate. Unlimited had some nice resculpts from the original set, Rebellion, also. Newb. |

Thanks Newbie, I have five cases of stuff ordered right now. If I lose my auction I will pick up a set of 10 packs of dark riders. I have around a 1000 figs bid on right now

Pyramids was a decent set. Yeah they reused some sculpts with mods but it added a lot more monsters to use in the monster pool for the Dungeon game. They also clarified rules for the dungeon game in the Pyramid starter. MK Dungeons was a great idea and I still think it was the product they should have kept supporting after MK died.
