Venom Notes: Venom is a Heroscape figure. Continuing on the Spider-Man theme here's another one of his villains! Nothing big here, just a slightly tweaked official card. However, if he runs up against Black Canary he should run. Run fast and far away. Nice. I will echo some other posts about the coolness of your Weaknesses.
I wish C3G would have came up with a bunch of Weaknesses at the beginning that future powers could be tailored around. Hindsight... I am not sure if this would be of interest to you but there was some discussion about having a "Living" or "Non-Living Symbol" to help ease in referencing powers that only affect living beings instead of always having to add 'does not affect Androids, Undead, Constructs, DOs' ect. Or I could update Winter Solider's card. We are attempting to keep the number of broad categories (species) small, and thus the way they interact with one another. That way we hopefully don't run into problems further down the road. Just for discussions sake here's the current list: Human Robot Andriod Machine Mutant Mutate Human Hybrid Animal Plant Kryptonian Eternal (Thanos) Amazon (Wonder Woman and her Amazons) Asgardian (Thor) We might be adding an Undead species down the line. I think Black Canary standing next to Venom rolling 8 attack dice and doubling all damage should just about do it.
That would be an interesting battle for sure! Venom would have to get in close and hope to score a big attack before she screams. For those of you following this thread we have made a small update to Wolverine, Penguin, and Harley Quinn.
This is an attempt to straighten out who is not affected by either "Venom", or "Poison", or both. It all started back with Poison Ivy. She has "Venom". Then came the Joker. In the comics he has poison gas, but it's called "Joker's Venom". We went with that and now it's thrown everything off, especially with new cards that we are working on like Red Skull. We now have two main categories, "Venom", and "Poison". Both fall under the heading "Immunity to Toxins". Some figures are immune to both, some only to one. So now: • Penguin has "Umbrella Poison Gas". • Wolverine is now not affected by "Venom" or "Poison". • Harley's "Immunity to Toxins" wording has been adjusted to be the same as our other cards. Your attempts to regularize your own individual Supers design project are an inspiration to all of us. Along with its graphic magnificence and custom terrain backup, its unprecedented as far as I know.
Now you'll just need some good scenarios, so its not all happening in a vacuum... |

Scenarios are a lot of work. I would love to see what Grish and son could come up with if they go down that road. I will offer my assistance to the cause if needed.
