Marro Warriors
For Units that come back from the dead I feel they are under priced. You can keep one back while sending the others out this is espically effective in team games.

Not overpriced at all. They die easily enough and if you have to rely on having a Marro clone itself, you probably have bigger problems.
9+ RotV - 7 SotM - 6 FotAk - 6 RttFF - 3 VW - 3 TT - 3 TJ - 1 Marvel - 3+ of each common - playing since Dec '05 Megadev's Repaints and Customs BattletechScape |

Following the typical strategy of leaving one behind and advancing the other three... To come back fully from 1 member it takes at least 2 Turns to come back... that's a good bit of time. On small maps, they can be useful, but it's easier to get to the last one. On large maps... they can be killer, since you can spare the extra turns waiting for your opponent to get to you.
They are fine as priced. The Krav is the only unit that I think is underpriced, currently :P Glory to the Many. |

It's been ages since I've drafted the Marro Warriors. I think I just overdosed on using them. Once a battle is in full swing and you're playing on a short field, it's difficult to forgo attacks in an attempt to Water Clone - especially without water! So I think they're worth 50 points on a big map. On a smaller map, they're still worth it, but not as effective.
EDIT: Haha! I see thehandofzarquon beat me to the same conclusion! Good points, thehandofzarquon. |

I don't think that they are under priced at all.
They have: above average move. terrible attack. ok defense. range and low range at that. cloning abilities. and four figures. They're great for there cost but I don't think they're under priced. If that makes sense. |

I love em just the way they are :P
The killer strat IMHO is to advance all of them, and run them to the water to clone when there are exactly 2 of them. Any more or less, and its just not enought bang for your buck. Of course, if your enemy is really slow moving, and you have some extra turns, by all means clone. I think their attack is too weak to make them a main part of an offensive, so their strength is best used as a early game strike force, a late game closer, or a 'you got too close to my start zone' sucker punch. I also throw them in armies that hurt on range. For 50 points, you cannot have a better ranged army card. (here's lookin at you, MBS (unless you already have some romans)). |

I believe they are under priced, as in most of my games the marro warriors destroy more figures than their own value.

If you take them seriuously enough you don't need more than a turn to kill them with another shooter squad. And with no marros on table, no clones. And still one marro is no worth worrying about.
