Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Civilians)
Very similar to the Deathreavers in terms of mechanics and price point, though the base stats and the amount of multiple/area attacks in C3G keep them in check. I've yet to see someone really spam them competitively, but it seems possible. B/3.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Civilians)
As much as I despise Squad'scape, I love the Civs.
Pretty fun with Torquemada and in anti-Mutant builds with Reverend Stryker. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Sentinel)
They're OK. They just don't really do terribly much. Even if they have a full match up against Mutants, you're still looking at a turn of one attack of 5.
C-/2 C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Sentinel)
Yeah, they could use some help for sure.
Played them with Master Mold in a X-men, Brotherhood and Sentinels 3 way and they were decent. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Sentinel)
I could see them going up with some support since they have solid stats for the price. As is, even against mutants or with Master Mold, they're nothing too great. I'd say around a C/2

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Sentinel)
There is something On Deck that helps them, though honestly I'm not sure if they don't just drag him down.

Everyone Wants To Be Me
I meant to post this when y'all were still on civilians but I did run an Anarky/Scourge of the Underworld/JJJ/Civilians build. It was kinda fun but Civilians don't have the staying power of rats.
Sentinels at this point really need to be in a Master Mold build to be at all viable. ~Dysole, briefly My Twitch Channel where I play Scape and other things My YouTube Channel where the games get uploaded later Dysole's Draft Rankings Map Thread (Not responsible for psychic damage) Customs Battle Reports This sentence is seven words long. This sentence is not seven words long. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Sentinel)
Cool scenario units! That's about it.
And the thing is, there's nothing wrong with that. Thematically it makes sense for these guys to not be the biggest competitive threat, since they're so counter-drafty. |

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Sentinel)
I used to think the Sentinels were just counter-drafty, but as I played them more, that's really not it. What do they get out of being around Mutants? A small initiative bump and a little extra figure movement. It's really not that big of a boost. The problem is they're just not terribly strong whether Mutants are around or not.

Re: C3G Strategy/Competitive Discussion (Sentinel)
I get it, but they're big and imposing and cool. All you need for a scenario. Don't worry about point costs, if you have a cool game built and have enough of them that it's relatively balanced, it should be fun.
