I think the Death Knights compensate well enough for their lack in numbers. We all know that defense dice > attack dice. Not only do the Death Knights have an above average defense of 5 but they cause every opponents figure they attack to roll 2 less. Heck, several squads only have 2 base defense (like the Legionaries)...that's pretty much an auto-kill, especially if you can get some height with them.
But I guess there's not really much you can do if your rolls are lackluster and your opponent has a hot hand.

Wow, I'm 2-0 in my last to predictions and I voted for each of you guys and I'm glad you each got a win.

So the battle has been fought, the video has been watched and now everyone is wondering who is lucky enough to win the pseudo-contest.

The following members of this outstanding site were insightful enough to choose me in the last battle (Basically, they've watched enough vids to know that Captain Can't-roll-dice won't be able to keep Q9 around long enough to do any damage.): Adbirk19, Dr. Death, Foudzig, Hahma, Leotheanimal87, MegaSilver, Neray, Obsidian, Robber, TheEpicLlama and XDVincent.

I'm gonna roll a d-20 to see who gets to pick 1) the format (from styles listed below) and 2) the map.

And I get a....7! Neray gets the first chance to choose our format of play. Next...8! Obsidian gets to pick the map.

We'll wait for those guys to send or post their choices and then we'll figure out when we can play. The mailbag segment will start with the next video, so get any other questions sent in.

1. Anything Goes
2. Superhero Battles
3. Wave Wars- be sure to specify which waves you want highlighted (we'll pick who plays each wave)
4. Master Set Armies- only figures from the three Master Sets
5. Embrace the Suck- 250 points of C- or lower HS Power Ranking Figures
6. Dragon King- must have a dragon in the army
7. All Hero Armies
8. All Squad Armies
9. All Common/ Uncommon Armies
10. All Unique Armies
11. Assassination- X must always go on a hero, to win, kill the hero with the X.
12. General Wars
13. Big Ole Monster Battle- each army must have at least one huge figure
14. Deal with Destiny- Players are randomly dealt three heroes (100 points or greater), 500 points standard, or if 1 player's dealt cards total more than 500, that player's total is the point total for the game.
15. It Takes All Sizes- each army must include a card representing each of the four sizes

18. Hijinx and Shenanigans- Each army must have at least two different cards with d-20 insta-kill abilitities.

Captain Canuck I think you should have brought Q9 out earlier. Also if the wrmyling stayed alive you could have done some more damage, but oh well. Better luck next time.

And let him get chewed up from afar by Zetacron or even Me Burq Sa? Methinks not!! I think using the Death Knights to tie down Legoboy's junk, and then bring in Q9 to knock em down was the best strategy. Alas, the dice had other ideas. C'est la vie.

Obsidian has already responded and selected the map for our next battle. Featuring pieces from a RotV set and a FotA set, with one random glyph in the center, we will be playing on Velenne's map, Husk of the Holdfast.



As soon as we hear back from Neray, we'll be able to plan our armies and get set to play. I think this is fun and I hope that you guys are too.
