Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
Yeah, just ran the calculator (looks like I missed this one for it?) and I'm getting like 190-205, so not surprised they're coming in a little hot.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
I was feeling 200 each after my games so if you wanna keep them as is I would raise them to that probably. They’re pretty solid with 4 attack and 4 defense with Speed Dodge.

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
With them needing a blank on defense, I'd lean toward dropping the attack to 3 and leaving the defense at 4.

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
Thematically, should they be more on the level of Kid Flash (3 defense and Speed Dodge) or Barry Allen/Wally West Flash (4 defense and Speed Dodge)?

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
Thanks for the tests!
Like I mentioned in Discord, I think dropping to 3 defense makes sense here. Skill-wise they're probably more on the level of Kid Flash. |

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
That feels really fragile for 175 points.

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
True. Glass cannons for sure. But you can pair them with defensive boosters.

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
You should never be required to draft a stat booster though. With defense reduction powers getting more and more prolific, I'd worry about the base 3 def. making them too easy to drop. Losing one of them puts a dent in their OM efficiency too.

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
C3G INITIAL PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Tornado Twins ___________________________________________________________ Army Test 1 Map: Conflict Chernobyl Units: Tornado Twin A(175), Tornado Twin B(175), Cap(240), Flash(Jay)(220) (810) vs. Luke Cage(190), Iron Fist(260), Nova(210), Moon Knight(150) (810)
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ Army Test 2 @165 each Map: Conflict Chernobyl Units: Tornado Twin A(165), Tornado Twin B(165), Cap(240), Flash(Jay)(220) (790) vs. Star-Lord(250), Nebula(240), Gamora(300) (790)
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I like the mechanics they have. Feels thematic and make for a fun pairing. I don't think they come near to their current cost though. I played one at 175 and another at 165, both were pretty big losses. It's hard to see them standing toe-to-toe with others in the 300-350 range in an army setting, as they feel a bit easy to take down, and once one goes down the other's value goes down quite a bit. Stats wise on the calculator they come out to 75 each, so I suppose it comes down to how much you value their powers at. I'd say 125-135 each could be reasonable. |

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
I definitely think they should fall closer to Kid Flash's cost than Flash (Barry)'s and they were trending higher. I was thinking 150 might be closer to right with the reduced defense.

Re: The Book of Tornado Twins (public testing)
Woof. Big swing for one defense difference. But I agree that thematically they should be closer to Kid Flash than Flash.
