Hi and best wishes for your tournaments success - BUT...

I could not find anywhere in the message title or first post the WHERE (location of your event) and have to assume that it's going to be somewhere near Arlington, TEXAS. I'm just letting you know that it would be helpful and curteous to let the rest of us (the HS community) know these things up front so we don't waste time searching for it. Thanks.

The where can actually be found in the title. The where is DragonCon.

It is held every year in Atlanta, GA and this will be the 24th year of the conference.

Rod,

Could you confirm the start time of the tournament? The DC gaming event site shows a 9am start time. I just wanted to make sure that Sunday, 12 noon was the correct time.

aye Noon is approximate start time.
it's typo in the book, since the time slots are 9-1 and 1-5..
the hours before noon give me time to setup maps and such.

Darn, I didn't even think about this til today. I'd love to, since I skipped it last year, but man... there's just no room in the car for my figs, and I can't just pick 500 points' worth on the spot. Good luck everybody! Maybe I'll come spectate and I can borrow some figs from your collection(s) for friendly play.

ok, this went extremely well this year,
overall a much better turnout than I had expected.
atm I'm halfway back to Tx, and hitting up a free wifi spot hahaha.

We had a good spot and I'd like to Thank Scott M(Mini's director) for everything as well as getting us a perfect spot(right in middle of everything).

to everyone who came Cheers!! it was lotsa of fun and I had a blast watching it as well as showing so many kids and ppl how to play. Btw I did find the elswin plateau map..hahaha and it ended up being used to demo HS.
