As always, mixed bag. Good for some, horrible for others.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

I tend to fall into the "others" category, which isn't great because i'm in the midst of buying a house so I need all the money I can get.

I'm sorry to hear that. Up in Scotland, most Scots are in the 'others' category as well.

If anyone's trying to build their collection, especially with early stuff, check out this sale on boardgamegeek:
http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/5512...ale-soon-uk-wi

It's not my collection, I hasten to add.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

Just a heads up, maddisongames.co.uk has just got Wave D2 in stock! P&P is only £2.50 no matter how many boosters you purchase. I think i'm going to only buy one of each this time around, instead of my 3x (un)commons, because I can't be afford to splash out anymore.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

I've done my usual (copulato expensium, as the Romans might have said), so that's 3 of each common and one of the uniques, but I wonder for how much longer I will continue. I've REALLY cut back on my games buying over the last two years, and have it in mind to buy only 5 new games when I go to Germany in October (down from 50 per trip a decade ago). I'm actually enjoying my gaming more, by buying just a few really good games and playing them over and over, rather than buying dozens of quite good ones and playing each one once. It's tricky trying to find out which ones are the really good ones without spending any money, though.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

I ended up buying 3 of the commons. I just couldn't break from tradition. They arrived today and overall the sculpts are good, but one of my Werewolf Lords looks like he wasn't put together properly; half of his chest doesn't line up with the other half. I'm still in the process of buying a house so all my scape is boxed up, waiting to go. As soon as I get things settled, i'll try the D1 and D2 waves out.

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

A couple of mine lean alarmingly (and the small bases don't help), but I like the way that they've gone back to thicker cardstock.

Just trying to shoehorn mine into the storage cases. I have enough room for this wave, but no more (without buying another case). Although if I ever finish a woodwork project I am partway through, that frees up two more drawers (which are currently being used to store a card game).

Re: UK Scapers (The life and times of RichardD)

I just bought Warriors of Feldspar from Maddison Games. There are still some in stock. I think it's the only website that Warriors of Feldspar is still available on.
