Fan Four is different, they're a puzzle you have to deconstruct carefully to make them fall apart. That's why they're so great.

I even said that with 3 life these guys might be fine. Just bringing up a concern.

If they had more than 3 Life, I'd definitely want to see their defense drop. I prefer 3 Life and 9 Defense, but I'd be OK with 4 Life and 8 Defense if that's really where folks want to go.

Deathwalker 9000 is a favorite of many in classic'scape because he's so swingy and different. He can block everything or die to 1 skull, meaning every defense roll is exciting. It's not for everyone (the unfun argument is true for many players), but it provides a different style of play, one that players who like big moments and taking risks will appreciate.

Besides, I see the Guardians as much less frustrating to fight against than Green Lantern Hal Jordan. He starts with 7 defense, 4 life and can ignore your attack whenever you get a good attack roll. One good attack from a heavy hitter could easily dispatch a Guardian in one hit.

Really? That surprises me to hear as most I know hate DW9000.

I don’t want everyone to be 4-5 life/defense.

I rather like the uniqueness of the Dalek Drones quite a bit.
4 defense and counting shields as double also is cool

Lots of options for uniqueness other than just increasing the number of dice rolled.

A figure that instead of increasing defense reduces attacks also feels more unique.

I think there's a lot of room to play more with base stats.
DW9000 can be fun, and I'm glad he exists, though it can be annoying that even a single skull getting through can be enough to kill him. These have a similar vibe, with a little more of a safety net. That's a win to me.

Wording updated, personality changed from Uncompromising to Unyielding, and defense dropped to 8. I think that still provides suitably high defense while not being too crazy.

#1 is obviously the “classic” look, but if we’re intending to do a Ganthet one day, might make sense to save that mini for him.

There's tons of other Ganthet minis, though none in the classic outfit besides these two. I have a Green Lantern Ganthet mini in mind for him, but there's also one in his Blue Lantern Guardian outfit.

(Sayd, Scar, and Krona also have their own minis.)
