Just got a copy of ROTV along w several exspansions

Was wondering with all these hero’s and all these keywords is there a list explaining all of them and special attack etc etc?

Basically only rule book I have is from the master set and no books for these exspansions.

The Master Set rule book should explain special attacks (i.e. attacks that can't have their dice modified and have special rules that are explained in the attack text).

What other keywords are you meaning? I think it's a pretty keyword light game compared to most of its bulk.

Okay and thank you and I have another question about all the LOS stuff I keep googling.

It seems to me that when positioning your hero and once done you wanna make sure he’s centered exactly on the hex and then rotate him so that none of his extremities are sticking out so that you can avoid and attack right?

I have been messing around with what we got recently and it seems you can SPIN one hexed based miniatures sometimes and they can be seen whereas if you didn’t spin it they could of been seen(just thier hand or foot etc) .

Is this thinking how heroscape is meant to be played ?

Yes. You can rotate your figures on your turn.

Is that why thou ....so you can hide behind stuff?

So spinning your figure and obviously positioning is really meant for defending and not really attacking ?

It can be used for attacking as well, depending on the sculpt. For example, you might be able to spin your figure around so that their head is popping out from behind cover and they can see the enemy before attacking.

Ya this al sounds cool and obviously can’t be played on a low table haha.

Now how on earth do I separate all these hero’s cards.

Is there a list that shows armies that r themed and have good synergy. I assume certain armies work better w specific unique hero’s. But a list if someone knows of one would be awesome!!!

If you search through these forums there are tons and tons of posts about army building and good army combinations. It'd be hard to duplicate what's in there in a few posts here (especially without knowing what actual cards you have).

Well, after the release of Common Squads, Heroscape became Squad'scape so forming a great team of Heroes is a bit challenging. There is not a ton of Hero synergy.
Sending out the Vikings first and then putting their spirits on a big Hero like Charos (green dragon) was popular when we started playing.

Well this bundle I traded for came with almost a two inch stack of hero cards so it’s proably best to separate into groups like this unique hero’s/uncommon army/common armies ?
