Re: Gen Con 2014 Events
Just a thought, but if you reveal the point totals and formats, but not the times or prices, I don't see what the harm is.

Re: Gen Con 2014 Events
There probably isn't much harm or risk but gencon does reserve the right to change anything about the submitted events.
I'm looking right at the event hosting policy and GenCon reserves the right to make changes to any submitted event's description or any other details. They also reserve the right to reject or cancel any submitted event regardless of the submission date or content. They have control over all of it, not just the start times, prices, and number of particpants. |

Re: Gen Con 2014 Events
the times, the place, the price is not of importance to most people, it is what the events are that counts, so if you share that info we all know, if not then only your crew knows what is coming and can practice or plan for it. No difference to me, but it seems weird not to tell what the events are - I think we would understand if GC changes something, although I can see no reason for them to change any aspect of the tournaments ( except place, time, and cost )?
Again it makes no difference to me, but it does seem weird Heroscape - The Game I Have Waited My Whole Life For! GenCon - a must for any true Scaper! |

Matthias .... thank you for taking Gen-Con again. I've missed Gen-Con the last several years but plan on coming back this year. Looking forward in playing in a few HS events. Again thank you for stepping up and directing the Heroscape events.

Re: Gen Con 2014 Events
Looking forward to what the crew has come up with this year.
I thought the open and kids events were brilliant and the new format resulted in some new builds. Good luck with the acceptance process! Hope you are in the same location. I like the idea of being in suspense as to what the events are going to be. It leaves something to look forward to!

Re: Gen Con 2014 Events
Go ahead and tell them about the event where all the figures must be walk on four legs or the one where all figures must be female. ... oh wait those were my ideas that noone liked - never mind.

Re: Gen Con 2014 Events
For Heat of the Battle, in the past has it been where glyphs are flipped and then figures placed or where figures are placed and then glyphs are flipped?
