Re: The Book of Buzzer (Going public)
The figures aren't next to each other on the battlefield, so I find it pretty intuitive in practice. But, your mileage may vary!

Re: The Book of Buzzer (Going public)
How is it counter intuitive? You are not adjacent to the figure so you cannot attack it. Just like you are not adjacent to a figure on top of a Fortress Wall while standing on the ground.

C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Buzzer Army Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 65? - Give a brief overview. This match started out well but luck was not on my side and the Injustice League tore through the other side. Specifically Cheetah took out Ripper, Buzzer, and Torch in a single turn. Map: City Park Units: Buzzer, Torch, Ripper, Captain America, (Sam), Beast (Avengers), Black Panther (Avengers), Iron Man (Avengers), Angel (Warren) (1,200) vs Lex (IJL), Cheetah (IJL), Grodd (IJL), Brainiac (IJL) (1,200)
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ Army Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 65? - Give a brief overview. My luck was absolutely horrendous here. Every single time I would roll well so would the opposing side. This was an absolute steamroll. Map: Elm Street Units: Buzzer, Torch, Ripper, Wizard, Kingpin I, Living Laser (800) vs Mastermind, Leopardon, Mirage, Wolverine I (800)
Spoiler Alert!
THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: He seems close but they are really hard to get setup and cannot stick around. GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: I like what they bring to the table but they don't really stick around long enough to really do anything, but they definitely have some potential. I hope the motorcycle will help. |

Re: The Book of Buzzer (Going public)
Thanks Karat. I watched 1.5 of those games. Luck was terrible for both games and watching Cheetah take out all three Dreadnoks in a single turn makes me wonder how balanced that card is.

Re: The Book of Buzzer (Going public)
Honestly a little disappointed from the latest rounds of testing. I watched most of Karats tests and am willing to let their massive losses go due to luck or an overpowered Cheetah (seriously, that Cheetah seems broken against mid to low level figures). But then Zak has them losing by a fairly hefty margin too. I was sitting on it for a few days to mull it over. I think I'd like to proceed with reducing all their Dreadnok bonding to 8 and keep them at 75. They will still get more testing with the introduction of the bike and finally leader, Zartan.

Re: The Book of Buzzer (Going public)
A boost seems in order, yeah. I imagine there are a lot of figures/armies in the game that would be able to tear through them like Cheetah did. A 4 life, 3 defense figure with no defensive ability could easily get one-shot by 50% or more of the library.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Buzzer (Going public)
It's not that she one-shotted a Dreadnok, it's that she killed all 3 (full health) in a single turn. She has no limit to the number of attacks she makes as long as she does 2 wounds, which is fairly easy to do to anyone with 3 defense.

Re: The Book of Buzzer (Going public)
I imagine Carnage (I) would've cleaned through them as well. But I could see an argument being made to cap her attacks the way Black Canary's are.

Re: The Book of Buzzer (Going public)
Which is true but Carnage doesn't also reduce your defense by the number of skulls rolled and at 3 defense it could be all of them (which happened).

And Cheetah can move after each attack
