It might be interesting to see a real long ranged team go against a slower moving melee team. Not exactly sure what those would be though.

C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Turtle Dojo

Spoiler Alert!

Overall Look: I like it, there are things to see and places to go.

Stability: TTS, prolly fine.

Build difficulty: About average I would assume, I do appreciate it only requires one of each set. I don’t have enough sewer grates currently, but I’ll probably make more at some point so I can build it.

Size: It’s a really nice size. Not too big, not too small.

Unit types positively affected: High defense figures like the manhole covers to move up on ranged units.

Unit types negatively affected: Not much that I can think of.

Key areas on the Map: The center where the food glyphs are and the mountains to the north.

Areas not used much or at all: The road at the bottom.

Army Test
Units: TMNT (700) vs Avengers Hawkeye, JL Green Arrow, Kate Bishop, Conner Hawke (700)

Spoiler Alert!

Archers move to height, while turtles move to sewer grates and road. Connor picks up a glyph of wheatcakes. Turtles move up the middle. Kate wounds Mikey, otherwise a lot of misses back and forth. Donny moves on top of the ruin and moves and wounds Clint. Barton dodges and moves past Mikey (who heals with a pie), but Raph pursues and wounds him. Connor DROPS Mikey with a Piercing Shot. Ollie wounds Raphael. Raph finishes Clint. Donny moves Queen with the Gauntlet.. Leo misses Ollie but hits Bishop. After some more misses from the archers, a combo of Kate’s Pinning Shot and Connor’s Piercing Shot deal 4 wounds to Leo! Leonardo removes Kate from the game. Donny throws and wounds Queen who is hit again by Raphael. Connor takes out Leo. Team Arrow takes out Donatello. Team Arrow then wipes out Raphael.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Connor Hawke (4/4), Oliver Queen (2/4).

Army Test
Units: Harley Quinn I, Poison Ivy I, Clayface II, King Shark, Doctor Psycho, Animated Vines (1,010) vs King Ghidorah (1,000)

Ivy’s plants, Ivy, and Harley move out. King G beams Ivy. Harley throws the bomb, unfortunately it’s a dud and it removes an OM, but it’s the X. G Lightnings away all the plants. Harley grabs some Wheatcakes, then Ivy takes some heavy damage. All the plants miraculously come back at the end of the round! Ivy gets a plant wound and Harley gets a wound in too. Some plants get beamed. Some people get lightninged. G finishes Ivy and Clayface debuts in place of Harley. G deals some damage to Clayface who shrugs most of it off. Psycho moves and Harley gives him the Wheatcakes. Psycho mindblasts some wounds onto Ghidorah, who in turn kills Harley and wounds everyone around. Psycho manages to do some more heavy brainmelting before G takes him out. Clayface falls shortly after. Ghidorah wiped out some OMs and then won initiative so sadly King Shark didn’t get a chance to Frenzy before getting evaporated. Otherwise I think King Shark could of had a shot of finishing him off.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): King Ghidorah (3/12).

GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED MAP: The first game tested the range concern, it’s a legit concern, but the turtles held it for most of the game, arrows were flying everywhere, but with the sewer grates they had 8 defense, so they didn’t get hit too hard before moving up onto the archers. Archers won out, but I think TMNT could have taken it. Also the ruin and the columns can block some sight. Flying has some benefits with the ruin and elevation changes.
The food glyphs and the manholes actually got used which was cool. Wheatcakes helped Doctor Psycho to stay in the game. It’s a pretty fun map, will probably be a go to for me.
