I'll be LO's torchbearer and say that the out-of-universe stuff in the bio is kinda bleh. Here's an attempt at a rewrite.

As a growing boy fascinated with bodybuilders and contortionists, Randolph "Ralph" Dibny discovered a popular soda known as Gingold used to enhance flexibility. As his life advanced, Dibny studied chemistry and created a supreme version of Gingold that could give him extreme stretching abilities for long periods of time. Utilizing Gingold and his brilliant brain to become Elongated Man, Dibny quickly developed into one of the world's most skilled detectives, second only to Batman. Dibny also went on to form a strong friendship with The Flash and became one of the first superheroes to publicly release his identity and get married.

Just a note from reading through this, but actually defining targeting seems like it would be a big win for the comprehensive rulebook.

RIDICULOUS REACH
Whenever an unengaged enemy figure within 2 spaces of Elongated Man moves away from him or targets a figure other than him, you may roll an unblockable attack die against that enemy figure. If you roll a skull, that figure cannot move away from Elongated Man and can only attack only him this turn.

SUPER SLEUTH
After placing Order Markers and before rolling for initiative, you may reveal an “X” Order Marker on this card to choose an unrevealed Order Marker on an opponent’s card and look atview it. If it is an “X” Order Marker, you may immediately look atview all other Order Markers on that opponent’s cards, and when rolling for initiative this round, add 10 to your roll. If it is a numbered Order Marker, add the number on that Order Marker to your initiative roll.

KINETIC STRETCH
Instead of moving, Elongated Man may use Kinetic Stretch. Kinetic Stretch has a move of 4. When moving with Kinetic Stretch, ignore elevations. Elongated Man may stretch over water without stopping, stretch over figures without becoming engaged, and stretch over obstacles such as ruins. When using Kinetic Stretch, Elongated Man will not take any leaving engagement attacks. After using Kinetic Stretch, if Elongated Man ismoved at least 3 spaces away from his starting spacewith Kinetic Stretch, he may roll one additional die when attacking normally this turn.

I wouldn't go for those changes.

The "enemy" should be there to differentiate, since you've got two different "figures" in play at that point in the power.

Moving that "only" reduces clarity. "Can attack only him" == "can't attack anyone besides him". "Can only attack him" could be interpreted as meaning the same thing, or meaning "can't do anything besides attack him" (ie locking out moving at all or using special powers). Why move it and open up other interpretations?

And the change to Kinetic Stretch makes it so that he can move in a circle and get the attack bonus, which the original wording was explicitly trying to avoid.

DARING DECOY
Figures engaged with this Green Construct can only attack figures that have the Daring Decoy special power.

Daring Decoy is worded the same way as Karat changed the Reach to work, I don't think anyone has ever argued that you cannot do anything other than attack while engaged with a figure with Daring Decoy.

I do agree the lack of enemy makes the first line less clear.

And I get that the intent of the stretch was to move farther away but the card was to wordy We can probably make that fit though.

Fwiw, I agree with Ronin. The only is arguable either way, but his take is slightly clearer and adds no words, which seems like a win.

Sure. It's a "most everyone gets what you mean" sort of wording. But if saying precisely what you mean doesn't make the power longer, I'm generally in favor of that.

Is the unblockable attack die on Ridiculous Reach supposed to also inflict a wound? It reads like it should (from unblockable), but stating the result of the skull like it does can make the interpretation a tad weird.

I believe the intent is for it to inflict a wound, yes.

That may be more FAQ territory, as I don't think there's a way to clarify the technically currently correct wording without adding text.
