Gigan kills Damian right away, because he’s a 70’s monster and in his mind only Dick Grayson should be Robin. The remaining Batfam bullies Gigan, with Nightwing’s Smoke Pellet and Batman’s Evasive Strike being a nuisance. The Batfam brings Gigan to 12 wounds before Gigan kills Batman to end round 2.

On an initiative win, Batfam takes it. If Gigan wins, he takes it.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Gigan wins init: Gigan (12 wounds) wins.

Batfam wins init: Nightwing (2 wounds), Robin Tim (0 wounds) win.

Gigan starts off the battlefield.

Daleks put a few wounds on Ultraman, then summon Gigan at the start of round 2. Gigan targets Ultraman, and brings him to 6 wounds at the end of round 2, though he also takes 7 wounds in return. Gigan then kills Ultraman, and Superwoman brings him to 11 wounds. Gigan puts 3 wounds on Superwoman. Gigan wins initiative in round 4, kills Superwoman, then dies to Owlman’s Calculated Defense. Owlman can’t roll more than 2 skulls, and the Daleks exterminate him.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): 2 Dalek Drones win.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Gigan feels appropriately like a bully, picking on the wounded, and you have to always be moving him to get the Buzzsaw-Bellied Bully boost. Both games were pretty close and I think 600 is spot on.

Cosmic Terror is definitely low impact, but it’s fun theme and works well with our invader squads. Should work nicely with Ghidorah too!
