In response to feedback from @OEAO , I've revised Odin Wept. (Thanks OEAO!)
The glyphs and the adjacent areas are no longer on lava: glyph is now on water, and adjacent same-level hexes are on ice.

Just tweaked and updated this old map of mine.

Among other things, got rid of the molten lava — molten lava has become increasingly problematic with the advent of SoV/C3V units that can easily dunk figures in it. So it's been yanked.

Also shifted the central lava fields to make movement around the middle a bit more dynamic.

If you're looking for a map that uses only Swamp and Lava, you can probably do worse than this one.

And a toast to @heroscaper2010 and @greygnarl , who gave help with the first version of this map over a decade ago.

I've just tweaked both Mome Raths and Mime Raths. Changes to both:

(1) Glyphs moved outward, so they no longer obstruct flanking moves around the big rock outcrops.

(2) The former LVL3 'bridge' of rock across the middle, which acted as a wall to forward movement, has been broken up.

And on Mome Raths: (3) The LVL2 rock double-hexer adjacent to the glyph no longer gets jungle coverage.

I've revised Stigmata quite a bit, and am much happier with it.

• Area around glyphs now considerably more dynamic.
• Glyphs now on shadow, to mitigate their more exposed position.
• Glyphs now more evenly spaced from each side: are 8/9. (Before were 8/10.)
• Easier development through the middle.
• Most importantly, there's now good reason to go right. (Before the map pulled strongly to the left.)

I have a map building challenge for you, Typhon... Build a tournament style map using *only* 1xRotV and 1xVW.

Particularly from Typhon, who is legendary for his hatred of grass tiles. Can he cover all of them up (except perhaps for use in start zones)? I don't know; I can't wait to find out!

The real challenge is that he loves smaller terrain sets, as he want to use everything in the set. So, updated challenge for him!

@Typhon2222 use 1x RotV and 1x VW, but use ZERO grass tiles.
