If you want a bonus, I'd be tempted to do this:

Ooh, I like that! Worth noting, though, that that means he literally can't lose a complete Gauntlet (unless an opponent manages to debuff his rolls or something). Would you deem that unthematic?

You could make it so he only gets +1 for each glyph gained after the game starts.

If I had unlimited room for text, I'd also make it so when he uses Half of All Life, he'd lose that bonus to keeping the gauntlet.

INFINITY QUEST
Start the game with the Glyph of Infinity Gauntlet on this card and put one of each of all Glyphs of Infinity not in the game into a Glyph Pool. Each player, starting with the player to your right and going counter-clockwise, places a Glyph from the Glyph Pool on any empty space on the battlefield. Next, you may choose one Glyph from the Glyph Pool and equip it. At the end of each round, if there are any Glyphs in the Glyph Pool, the player who won the initiative that round must place a Glyph from the Glyph Pool on any empty space on the battlefield. Glyphs cannot be placed within 3 spaces of any figure or another Glyph of Infinity. When Thanos rolls to lose the Glyph of Infinity Gauntlet, add 1 for each glyph's powers that have been gained.

ONE HALF OF ALL LIFE...
Once per game, after revealing an Order Marker on this card and instead of taking a turn with Thanos, if Thanos is equipped with the Glyph of Infinity Gauntlet and it has the powers of all six Glyphs of Infinity, you may roll the 20-sided die one at time for every other figure on the battlefield. On a roll of 11 or higher, that figure is destroyed. After using this power, the Infinity Quest special power is negated for the remainder of the game.

REWRITTEN DEATH
Once per game, if Thanos would be destroyed, you may instead remove all Wound Markers from this card and the round immediately ends.

That should work! I'd put the bonus to the roll at the end of the power though. Makes it easier to reference during the game and doesn't interrupt the flow of the rest of the power.

Holy crap! I am really loving this design now! That is just dripping with theme! I was also going to suggest the +1 to the roll for each gem he has, but I like your work around better. Plus, I wouldn't have thought of the negative to Half Of All Life. Good work!

Glad you like it! Thanks chap. SP updated. The only changes I'm toying with now after prior tests is a tweak to his survivability, either bumping his Life back to 10 or dropping it to 8 and boosting his Defence to 7. I'm almost wondering the second... he shouldn't be too easy to hurt. (All that for a drop of blood...)
I'll run the last Initial for him sometime over the next few days... busy week, though, so not sure when precisely, might be as late as Saturday.

Honestly, I'm not sure why you're tweaking it. He seems pretty close to perfect now. You said in both games he felt exactly the way you hoped he would, if there isn't a glaring reason to tweak those stats just leave them as is. Sometimes we just get one right on the first pass.

I wasn't saying I was going to, I said I was considering it. The only thing that felt possibly a bit off was how easy it was to hurt him. I certainly don't want to change that much, but I'm toying with the idea, especially considering at least someone said he almost looked like he was coming in low right now, and I'd like to hear some thoughts.

Honestly, 1,200 feels pretty much like the sweet-spot to me, after playing him - it's low enough for you to be able to take a decent amount of minions in a 2,000 point game (and a really significant number at 2,500 - these considerations aren't so important now, but when we get the Black Order and Chitauri, they will be), while also high enough for him to take on serious armies and superhero teams single handedly. Maybe it's because I kind of consider 1,200 a fairly standard points level for a game - it's my go to for a moderate-large game. 1,000 is just standard, any higher than 1,200 and we're getting into the big leagues, but 1,200 alone is right on the level of 'this battle is significant' - Thanos alone being that level and able to take on armies of that level feels right.
