Re: Spider-Girl ~ Design Phase
Now we just have to get so we're all comfortable with the stats and power names and what not and she should be ready for an initial go. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Spider-Girl ~ Design Phase
First post updated, albeit minorly - I upped her attack to 4, presuming that the C3G Spider-Man's will be 5 at least.
Three things I'm not sure on, though, in particular. 1) Personality. I went with "Responsible" because, well, that just screams Spider-Man to me from all angles, but I'm a tad shaky on it. Thoughts? 2) Wording on Advanced Spidey-Sense. Looks fine to me, but, I'm not sure. 3) Costing. 180 was a ballpark, but now I'm thinking down to 160ish. |

Re: Spider-Girl ~ Design Phase
Can I ask that before we abandon the idea of a ranged, situational Stuck, we at least try to work out wording?
Here is my opening suggestion: WEB STICK All small or medium opponent's figures that enter or occupy any space within two same level spaces of Spider-Girl may not move as long as the space the figure occupies is the same terrain type as the space Spider-Girl occupies. Figures affected by Web-Stick cannot be moved by any special power on an Army Card. Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers. DISCLAIMER: C3G claims no ownership of the characters or artwork used for C3G customs. Re: Spider-Girl ~ Design Phase
Is it really strong enough to avoid special power movement, though? Like, the pull of Magneto or a punch from the Hulk?
Otherwise, I'd be good with it if everyone else is. It'd give her more tying power, no doubt. |

I like Dutiful and Steadfast there.

Re: Spider-Girl ~ Design Phase
I'm not really sure if Steadfast captures her on the whole, though... but she's tough to pin down. She's charming and popular like Mary Jane, smart and somewhat nerdy like Peter, witty and dutiful like Spider-Man... she has a lot of angles, and its hard to capture her entire personality with just one word.

Re: Spider-Girl ~ Design Phase
I'd say the charming and witty aren't so much what define her in the suit though, if I'm guessing correctly, especially given the "responsible" on the first post now. I'd say "Dutiful" is the closest to "Responsible" that still sounds Heroscapey. Also, it'd make sense that her duty is to the legacy of the costume and her father as well as the city.

Re: Spider-Girl ~ Design Phase
I'd buy that. It sounds a bit... solemn, though, which strikes me as somewhat off, since May generally enjoys the superheroics a lot more than her father did. But Dutiful, well, it works, I suppose.
And Spider-Girl/Man, not witty in-costume? What comic books are you reading!? |
