Missouri 'scapers?

TRU in columbia mo had a whole box full yesterday of flag bearers and the 2 bigger hero sets (like jotun and them) and castles but only 3 wave 6 exspansions . i thought they would atleast have some old ones but i was wrong.

50 mi North of KC. I have been searching St Joseph, MO for wave 7 or Marvel but the stores there have either LOTS of wave 5 or the Hero set from wave 6 and the Master sets.

There are flag bearers at the TRU in KS on Quivera near the Oak Park mall. I was in there today.

I'm in the STL and also suprised that there are not my scapers. I'm thinking about trying to have some sorta game day at a local game store. Try to stir up players. Ever heard of the Gathering Ground? I wonder if they would let me do it there.

Hmmm, I haven't been to the Gathering Ground since they moved a few years back. Oddly enough when they moved I lived out in St. Charles County so they moved away from me, but now I live pretty close to their new location. I wonder if the same guy still runs that shop. I now the owners of a couple shops, but they're out in St. Peters and I'm not sure if their still open. Hey, I wonder if All-American (Mo's) Comics is still open. I used to go to SW:CCG tourneys out there... a looooong time ago.

Anyway...

It might be worth checking to see if GG would be interested in letting us hold a Heroscape game. It's always a little harder to get places to host for games they don't sell. Not to mention we'd have to figure out how to get people to come. The three of us won't make for much of a tournament. Any idea on getting the word out?

Oh, and Barbell Hero, I live south of Hwy 40 and 170 (Maplewood).

Beats me, I have a hard enough time finding friends to play with. I know one other guy that plays for real (IE has his own stuff) and I'm waiting to see if that's him posting. Otherwise, we've got 4!

I live in Afton, on Gravois near River Des Pres.
Not sure about getting the word out, didn't think about them not selling the game and not wanting to let us play there. Mo's All American Comis is still around, place on Chippewa right? Don't know if they do any gaming there any more. I go the Fantasy shop in Mapelwood for most of my other gaming needs, but not sure if the Mngr would let us have tournment there either.

I've been known to frequent the Fantasy Shop in Maplewood. I live like three blocks from there after all.
