HAMMER OF THOR
At the start of the game, place the Glyph of Mjolnir on this card. Thor cannot lose this Glyph by receiving wounds unless he is destroyed. Before attacking with Thor, if this Glyph of Mjolnir is on the battlefield, but not on this card or the card of an opponent’s figure, you may choose the space this Glyph of Mjolnir occupies, and all spaces on a shortest path between itthe Glyph of Mjolnir and Thor. Roll an unblockable attack die against each opponent'senemy figure or Destructible Object on the chosen spaces, then place that Glyph of Mjolnir on this card.

That helps a hair more. Still not ideal, but it's the minimum I'd want to see these days.

Well dang it. I thought we needed that line, because for some reason I've always had it in my head that an Equipment Glyph is always considered to occupy the same space as the person equipped with it. Looks like that's not the case (or at least is only the case when talking about counting aura effects for Glyphs). Which is great for Thor here, but also means the way I designed and have been playing the Sonic Screwdriver is completely wrong.

I could very well be wrong. My logic was that if it's on the battlefield, it's not going to be on someone's card, thus the line is unnecessary and addressing an impossibility.

My understanding was the same as yours. Have you double-checked the rulebook?

This is what the Equipment Glyph rules have to say about it;

Treat Equipment Glyphs as normal glyphs with the following exceptions and additional rules...

...An Equipment Glyph's power is in effect as long as it is power-side up on the card of a figure that equipped it. A glyph only affects that figure unless otherwise stated. For Equipment Glyphs that have an area of effect (i.e. the power text states "within X spaces"), treat the glyph as if it is placed on the space occupied by the figure carrying it.

Nah, it says if it has an aura effect, it is treated as if it occupies the space. This one does not have an aura effect.

Yeah, it feels pretty clear to me. We could change the ruling, but I have no clue what ripple effect that would have on other cards. Larfleeze, for example, pretty clearly assumes that 'on the card' and 'on the battlefield' are different things.

At the start of the game, you may choose 1 other Unique Hero you control and p. Place a white Avenger Marker on its card. After an opponent's figure within 6 clear sight spaces of Thor attacks a figure you control that is either Asgardian or has an Avenger Marker on its card, you may place the Glyph of Mjolnir from this card onto the space the attacking figure occupies, then androll an unblockable attack die against it.
